I don't know why I didn't make the connection till after warching the tour of the normandy video, but I'm glad to see that the single player game uses a similar weight system as the MP. Don't know why I couldn't make the connection when my power cooldowns were 25 times longer on the second mission when compared to the first.

Yeah, the company is broke and cannot pay for inventory. What they have now is all on credit. Some companies think they will go bankrupt and EA has no reason to gamble product on them when they will sell millions regardless of weather one store chain has copies.

Ok I'm going to buy the game, I've decided.

I'll probably DL it on origin, which version should I preorder? Standard or Deluxe? Are there any significantly better offers from other retailers? I saw some discussion about a DLC too.

If you're getting the DL version, get the standard and pay the extra $10 for the launch DLC if you want it. That is, unless you think some .jpegs, an in-game hoodie and pet robodog on your ship are worth $10 on top of the DLC... The Digital Deluxe is not the CE, there are unlimited copies of it.

For PC, you may as well get the DL unless you want the CE boxed. For that, you would probably have to hunt for it on launch as pre-orders online are very rare. If you pre-order the DL on Amazon you can get a $10 game credit.

torrents are on bitgamer, no crack so pointless. HOWEVER, all the videos in the game are contained in a separate file that can be accessed. COMMENCE LOCKDOWN FOLKS.

fffffuuuuuuuuuuu not had a chance since finishing work to grab a CE, everywhere seems sold out apart from amazon which has a 'watch this space'. Hoping they make them available tomorrow and I can catch one from text alert :<

save game files from EU/NA versions are interchangeable on a PC correct? Like some people, I got my ME1/2 off Amazon and wasn't aware I was getting EU versions until they arrived. Going to pick up ME3 NA in stores of course but just second guessing (probably foolishly) that save file transfer might be an issue.

When importing a Mass Effect 2 character into Mass Effect 3, the character will be brought forward exactly as it was left off. A level 30 character in Mass Effect 2 that is imported into Mass Effect 3 will retain its level and abilities, and can immediately start working toward the new level cap of 60.[3] Any credits or resources that an imported character had in Mass Effect 2 will be reset in Mass Effect 3.[4]

In terms of gameplay upgrades, only the primary ship upgrades for the Normandy SR-2 (Heavy Ship Armor, Multicore Shielding, and Thanix Cannon) will transfer to Mass Effect 3. Other gameplay upgrades such as research upgrades will not transfer.[7]
