I sometimes think the game is set on action mode because it seems like there should be more dialogue choices during conversations, but I just auto respond instead. But, it's an imported save and I never chose that option.

Also I found a pretty cool bug earlier. Died and on the reload my Shepard had lost all force power upgrades.

There are significantly less dialogue pop ups in ME3 compared to the previous 2 games. Not sure what to make of it since i've only gone through the game once but it could be they just cut out the bullshit and stuck you with renegade/paragon options that mattered. Or it could be they got lazy and didn't wanna record that much dialogue, who knows. It didn't phase me too much since there were still enough pop ups to keep me happy and I always have the last 2 games to go back to.

my guess is $7-10.

I gotta say, it may be worth it. The multi is better than any game I've played that wasn't primarily a multi game.

This is my only current issue with SP so far. The options seem pretty linear. Learn everything you can from the character, then decide if you want to say something nice or rude. Doesn't matter which option you choose 'cause it doesn't seem to change anything anyway.

Mind you I haven't finished the game yet, so I guess I'll find out if there's a reason for that.

surely it has been asked and answered already, but i couldn't find anything with the search.
my scenario: i used to play me1 and me2 on a pc. when i moved to my new place i had no space for a desktop so i gave it to my brouh and i bought a ps3 instead.
if you haven't figured my question yet here it is: of course i have to start a brand new broshep on the ps3, as i can't import the saves that i had... which choices me3 will let me pick on a new game with no save game import? i couldn't find any info on it but IF i can't choose shit (which i fear it's the case) does it make sense to play me2 (even if i've finished it like 4 times on the pc last year, i would do it again) as fast as i can to have a more "personal" experience?

With starting new on ME3 with no ME2 data the differences I know atm are:
Collector base destroyed is default ME2 finish.
Virmire survivor is defaulted to who ever is opposite gender of your Shepard.
Your romance options take a huge hit only romances that can be started in ME3 are Ashley/Kaiden/Liara/Cortez/Trayor/Diana Allers everyone else must be started in ME2 to contiune in ME3 (Tali/Garrus/Thane/Jacob/Jack/Miranda)
Some squad banter during missions is removed or altered. Mostly stuff referencing events from previous games and flirting with love interest from previous games
Squadmates from ME1/2 that don't rejoin crew and many NPCs will either not appear or will always die since conditions for saving some people are based off several choices spanning ME1/2 and or loyalty in ME2
Alot of war assets will be unobtainable or changed. Even minor decisions in previous games are reflected in adding or subtracting from scores of some war asset.
DLC is a factor. Kasumi, Zaheed I believe will not appear unless obtained in ME2, Dude and his brother from Project Overlord will not appear. Without Shadowbroker DLC some conversations with Liara change and Feron her Drell buddy will die from her attacking broker alone. Feron gives you free upgrades and intel if he alive. Arrival changes some dialogue.

this saddens me to the bones.
well, i'll have a me2 copy borrowed from a friend, planning to rush through it in super easy mode (finished it like 3 times on the pc, i pretty much remember everything still) so i'll have a personal shepard to play in me3 rather then a bad premade one.
couldn't they let you choose the background story like they did on ps3 version of me2? too many choices maybe? oh well. i just hope to find some bros to co-op with once i'm done with 2 and start with 3.

We don't CARE that Shep dies. We don't CARE that you have to have a high paragon/renegade score. We CARE that every single fucking choice we made in the previous games DO NOT MATTER FOR THE ENDING. You either get cookie cutter ending red, blue, or green, and some SLIGHT changes in the cutscenes depending on your readiness score. And it's FULL of plot holes.

From how that guy got everything in one pack I bet it will just be a character pack DLC. I really hope they will do multiplayer expansion DLC though like maps + weapons + modes + stuffs

Krogan Battlemaster will be the Krogan Vanguard solution obviously, Asari Justicar though? Instant buy for the playable geth anyways.

How many people are buying the Spectre packs? I heard a couple guys talking last night during MP about having bought 10 already each. I don't have a ton of time to play games anymore, so I can appreciate the option to buy stuff like that instead of grinding points...but I still can't buy stuff that I can get for free from a game...goes against something deep inside of me leftover from being angry at FFXI gil buyers. lol

This will be annoying as fuck on Geth levels. I already get trigger happy and start shooting my team mates who cloak right next to me. You can't tell that they aren't Geth coming up to make love to your mouth with the barrel of their shotties.
