[Affected Service]
- The FINAL FANTASY XIV Lodestone
[Important Update Details]
* Linkshell Page
Linkshell pages have been added as a way to allow linkshell members to better communicate with one another. Linkshell pages feature a complete list of linkshell members as well as a forum that could be used for anything from scheduling in-game events to general communication. Any member of a linkshell can create new posts or replies. Posts can be set to public or private, with public posts allowing for users not in the linkshell to post replies.
* Administrative privileges of forums will be given to the linkshell master and leaders.
* Each thread may contain up to a maximum of 1000 comments.
To view a linkshell page, log in to the FINAL FANTASY XIV Lodestone and mouseover the newly added "Linkshell" option on the "My Site" menu. This will display a list of linkshells to which you belong. Then simply select the linkshell page you wish to view.
* In some cases, it may take time for newly created linkshells or changes in membership status to be updated on the FINAL FANTASY XIV Lodestone.
* To access "My Site" you must first log in to the FINAL FANTASY XIV Lodestone. Click the "Log in" button in the upper left corner of the page to do so.
* Blog Search
Searching blogs by World and by language is now possible.
The "Character Search" button has been replaced by an advanced search button. Clicking it will take users to a page where World and language options are available as parameters for a blog search. The New Posts portion of a user's My Site page can also be set to display entries using these same World and language settings.
* History
The time stamp is no longer displayed on other characters' histories.
* Other
Other general issues have been addressed.
* Future Updates
The following updates are planned for the near future:
- Activity filters
Users will be able to filter activities to show only blogs, comments, or posts made by them.
- Linkshell Profile
Users will be able to create a profile for their linkshells to be displayed at the top of the linkshell page.
The linkshell profile may include a variety of information, including aims and aspirations, or a freely written statement declaring the very essence of your linkshell philosophy.
Linkshell page searches will also be possible, allowing users to search through linkshell profiles.
