It's half the reason I watch the show. I only tune in for the first half to see all the crazy shit they do to feed their addiction, then the end to watch them fall back into it after 3-6 months from rehab.

    The intervention part in the middle is boring. Family love you...blah blah blah...killing yourself....blah blah blah....no I won't go....blah blah blah....more guilt trip.....ok i'll go....blah blah blah....

You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

I actually found it interesting that it made sense with either spelling.

hey wasap, drug addicts, sympathy and empathy and all that bullshit doesnt work. they have no feelings...

call rehab; let her come back to reality first, then maybe you can talk some sense in to her.

btw, religion works wonders in these situations yo, but thats out of the question. so rehab is your best bet.

    thats my opinion.

There isn't a quick, part time solution to this.

Are you ready to dedicate a few years of your life helping her?

    Step. 1

Leave country with her/move somewhere far and remote.

    Step. 2

Spend every goddamn waking moment with her, and I mean it, every. goddamn. moment.

    Step. 3

Make sure she spends every goddamn waking moment doing something.

My GF I am dating now was on meth and she saw the road she was going down was not where she wanted to be and cleaned her act up by herself.

I am going to agree with others, its something the person has to do themselves and you could try and paint the picture of their life a year or 5 down the road and where this addiction will take them but some people have such a strong pull to these type of things that they rather throw everything away for another high. That right there is someone is is dead they just don't know it and you have to let things run its course.

You may be able to intervene but in the end they have to make the change, or they will relapse as soon as your not holding their hand.

Why are you still friend with him? You're only making things worse because he thinks that it's ok to be a drug addicted when he still has support from friends.
On top of that you're hurting your own image because being acquainted with a drug addict is enough of a reason for many people to keep distance from you.

Those people need to be abandoned by everyone until they realize that nobody likes them. It's the only way you can help them. Eventually one of two things will happen:
    -realize that they need to drop those habits and change for the better;
-realize that they're too weak and commit suicide.
Regardless of what they choose, the entire society benefits from that.

It's way harder to smoke meth when you're in jail. A secondary bonus of calling the cops is that you won't have meth heads and cops knocking on your door. Anything you do that doesn't involve you giving: 1. her money for meth or 2. a place to smoke said meth, will piss her off. So, forget trying to figure out some way of helping her that she's gonna be cool with. Give her the ultimatum up front, tell her that you care about her, and because of that you're going to do everything in your power to get her off meth. Give her a one-time offer for her to help herself with you. If she declines, kick her out of your house, cut ties, and repeatedly call the cops on her to limit the amount of time she spends smoking meth. If she comes to you for help after that, don't miss a beat, and go with her to rehab.
