That being said, don't get involved. If something happens and your boss does some crazy shit, your ass gonna get fried too. Silly women.

long story, when she had the business she wanted me to be partner but that would cost an investment, which I wasn't willing to give (that's when the economy was going bad). then when she went bankrupt in the business she asked me to take it over (you can't keep a business after filing), and open up a business acc, things like that, which I wouldn't do.

Even though I wouldn't though she always treated me like a partner and friend vs. an employee.

Drama with a married couple is never fun. You're just asking for trouble. I'd politely decline saying you're uncomfortable dealing with his problem. If he's such a nice boss, like you've said should be no problem. However if for some reason he fires you over this crap. Lawsuit. Profit. Epic wedding for you!

Is the phone in her name as well as her husbands? If it is, she can call the phone company and get a call detail record. This is the easiest way to see what calls have been made from her phone, for a fee. Catch is she HAS to be authorized on the account and has to have the pin for the phone company which should be on every bill statement they get. This becomes a problem IF she has phone through a cable company / nonstandard phone company (IE magic jack). You said she can see a phone log online, but sometimes the phone company can give you more information if you pay for it.

If she thinks he's cheating though, she needs to lawyer up and prepare for divorce. The lawyer can guide her through the appropriate legal steps to get the information, as a phone company can release a full call detail record (Name, time, etc) when subpoenaed. What she's asking you to do is considered pretexting, and it's a felony when you knowingly do it to a phone company. It's just as bad to pretend to be from the phone company to get information. If the information doesn't pull up on a reverse look up of whitepages.com, there isn't a way to get it for free.

If the woman he's cheating with is calling from the phone # you want to identify, her the best thing to do would be to forward all calls to her cell. After the other woman calls her a couple times file a harassment claim with BOTH her phone and cell company, then the police when they tell her to. That way she can say that she was the recipient of the calls and her husband can't claim they were for him without going on record as knowing the other woman before the divorce hearings. Bonus points for the divorce as she can claim no prior knowledge if she hasn't confronted the husband yet, and mental anguish.

tl;dr: Don't do this if you do not want to go to jail; get her to a divorce lawyer pronto. Especially if the Husband makes more money, so that she can strike first.
