Ben as mandarin is pretty much amazing.

I really don't know =( and I feel bad for thaat. Think I'm just cautious cause I'm concerned if they can really hit three great iron man movies in a row. Even the new batman trilogy wasn't that good, even though all 3 films were pretty amazing.
As much as I love Ben Kingsley (and I fucking love his work), why is it so difficult for them to find and cast someone east Asian?
I suppose its silly that such shit bothers me, but it does. Seriously, was Cary Hiroyuki-Tagawa not available?
Isn't the Mandarin half chinese/half english? and Kingsley is half indian (which is asian, albeit not chinese).
I do feel like he represents a more modern eastern super villain then a chinese one. Guess cause of the times?
Oh man, we get it a week before you guys. Someone at Marvel loves us Europeans.
That's either DUM-E or U (though, given the dunce cap, I'm going to guess DUM-E). XD I love Tony's robots. I also love the fact that when he calls them "dummy," and "hey, you!" he's referring to their names!
Also, when has Hollywood ever shown any serious level of care for ethnicity when they cast a movie?
Kevin Feige actually said something to the effect of "we wanted to break away from the typical Asian Mandarin ..." and something about wanting to have him represent a larger symbol instead of being "the evil Asian guy" which is who the Mandarin was originally supposed to represent.
Remember, most of the early Marvel villains were just caricatures of America's enemies at the time.

None these movies compare to how great the Airbender movie was cast. Such perfection and gentle care in getting all the details just right.
You're comparing Apples to Oranges, lass.
