Well, I for one loved it.

It had action galore, a plot twist via the Mandarin and a child actor that didn't suck! The only thing that let it down for me was that the trailer gave away the fact that Pepper still had more to do after she fell. Also, was a shame all the Iron Mans got destroyed at the end, hey Stark, you don't know that you might need them in the next movie!

40 suits made of detachable, independent, self-propelled pieces flying around and he supposedly lets her fall to her death, and to add insult to injury he just goes on and continue fighting like nothing happened...that was so fucking dumb and out of character, especially after all that circlejerking about him breaking down and having panic attacks every other scene because he wasn't able to protect the only thing he seemed to care for and blah, blah) I cannot put it into words.

Also, the acting in both the death sequence and the moment he realizes she's still alive is completely devoid of any emotion, literally felt like "oh, ok she's dead, well too bad lol" and "oh you're alive, well lol k, I luv u btw".

Fucking unbelievable and totally unacceptable, even by hollywood popcorn flicks standards.

I agree that it was rather unemotional, the before and after of her death. You could put it down to being in shock, or that he knew subconsiously that she would be ok, after all, she had Extremis in her system which practically raised the dead.

Having one of the suits rescue her might have seemed like a cop out maybe?

Mark 42 is the only one that had detachable parts that could maneuver independently, that's why he's putting those implants in. The Mark 42 is also the only one he's controlling by thought. It was also no where near the boat when all the action was taking place, yes he could have had Jarvis catch her but then it also comes down to the whole target as an enemy issue that's brought up within the next 5mins.

to my understanding, the "Pepper's an enemy cause she got Extremis typical heat emission" thing was an issue solely because he had temporarily lost the earpiece he used to communicate with Jarvis.

The date listed on this topic is incorrect, i don't even think they changed it on the IMDB page.

The date is correct for North America. Unfortunately USA is probably the last country the movie gets released for. Everyone gets to see it about a week or so earlier in Europe. Some may also see early pre-screenings.

Robert Downey Jr did a freaking intro speech today before the movie started for me when I saw it omagkaj;wlekfjawklejf I"M SO STARSTRUCK ;_______;

but I can say... the action scenes were really awesome. I thought they were incredibly creative the way they were done. Really surprised that ILM didn't do the effects for this movie but it was still a great job from the new group! To be honest it felt a little bit like Dark Knight Rises in the way that they introduced so many characters suddenly, but I think IM3 was done much much better. I thought Killian was pretty menacing as a villain. Definitely the best out of the 3 movies.

And omg the after credits scene XD XD. was upset no more thanos stuff but it was a cute scene nonetheless.
