Last night on Daily Show he said they are renegotiating his contract, but did not sound like he was ready to be done.

Yea that's why I was confused.... I saw a featurette with him where he said he loves playing Tony but then in a recent interview they made it sound as though he didn't want to do it anymore.
Got my tickets purchased for the marathon showing tomorrow. Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Avengers, and finally Iron Man 3.
I need to get me that mod.
It would honestly be better if it turned out he didn't wanna play tony stark forever because you end up with a hugh jackman marathon of shit movies featuring the same character.
I think where a misquote may have came from is that he loves playing the character and loves the money they pay him to do it but doesn't want to get stuck doing a shitty movie if they run out of good scripts a la Hugh Jackman which may be why he's wary of another 6 movie type contract.
I think as long as they put in a good script on each movie, he would be fine with coming back as Tony Stark in each one. Multiple interviews said as above, he loves playing the character
and finds a lot in common with him.
Movie was good, though the way they handle the suits is weak.
Spoiler: show
Ending was amazing I thought. Excited to see where they take the series from here, and especially which route it takes in the next Avengers movies.
Definitely stay until the end of the credits, good laughs to be had.
Is there any reasoning behind why the US was one of the last countries to have this released?
Being under contract, getting sued out the ass, and having your entire career go from constantly doing movies to barely being able to do 1 every so many years because the industry labels you as someone who is hard to work with (not to mention, I wouldn't doubt if all the studio execs talk to each other about actors they use) can be a good enough reason not to resist. Breaking into and making a name for yourself in the acting industry is incredibly hard. Getting kicked out of the industry is ridiculously easy.
But yeah, I agree. I see RDJ as Iron Man. I see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. I see Liam Hemsworth as Thor, etc, etc. As a fan, I think that's pretty neat. And I'm sure them as actors like being iconic as those charactors and love being able to say, "Yes, I am Thor/Iron Man/Wolverine" when talking to fans or kids or whoever. I would love it if I were able to be recognized globally as a rad character.
But yeah, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine would be much better if Fox wasn't making the movies. He suits Wolverine, but the writers for the films are crap.
lol hugh jackman wouldn't get blackballed for saying "fuck you" to fox, not even remotely feasible
That I don't doubt, but getting sued out of the ass and losing millions isn't appealing for anyone.
Profitability. USA sucks in general for movies.
edit:
Also what in the FUCK?
