Loved the show/season/episode.
Spoiler: show
Anyhow, my guess with Season 4 is that there will be a completely new host of characters, minus Rudy because he did not get as much show time as the others. I hope Nathan returns due to his jail time being up and he rejoins the group.
Surprised that the actor that plays Simon is leaving the show too. Not gonna be anyone left after season 4.
Do we really need to spoiler this?
Spoiler: show
Is Simon really not coming back next season? Show is kind of dead if he doesn't come back.

edit: And just found this bit of (awful) news:
"Meanwhile, writer Josh Schwartz, the brains behind The O.C. and Gossip Girl, is set to produce a U.S. version of the drama."
Found that at http://web.orange.co.uk/article/news...onger_a_misfit
That sucks, I can't see a workable way of replacing Simon the way Rudy replaces Nathan.
An american version will suck and they are sure to miss everything that makes the show good in the first place. I expect them to increase the romance parts and take out all the sex and violence from it.
Yeah I had starting seeing headlines a few weeks back that Misfits was likely getting brought over to the US. I can see it being somewhat decent if they do it right. Hell it can't be worse than Misfits of Science was, anyone remember that?
I don't think the US version of Being Human did too poorly, and it is going to at least see a second season. The US version of Skins however, wow... what a mess that was. I am highly skeptical though.
As for the actual BBC show and its fourth season? I have no idea. If there is no Simon and no Alisha then I hope that Seth would get an even bigger role next season. They definitely brought him into the group much more this season. I also have to wonder if they aren't just going to be done at the Community Service place. How long can they possibly stay there...
Fuckin damn it, Mitchell leaving BH and now this? The fuck you doing UK, cant hold on to any of your actors. So sad, this has been my favorite show...
American Being Human isnt too bad, actually looking forward to new season. However, Misfits is completely different animal in my opinion. The language, topics they discuss, etc all attribute to the uniqueness of the show. US censorship is too harsh, even HBO wouldn't dare to release show like this.
Simon's story is completely done, so I understand why he's not coming back... But I mean, he's the only real "main" character of the show, so I'm not sure how it's going to progress from here.
A US version of Misfits is doomed to fail. How can it ever live up to this?
love her accent even though I can't understand 98% of the things she says.
I could see American Kelly being played by a person with a heavy Brooklyn accent. American show won't be good unless we have an eighty-two year old grandma's tits on the screen having an orgasm. HBO would be the only people of transitioning it well to America.
Sorry for the sort of necro, but I finally just finished the season via Hulu. I can't say I am too surprised that Simon and Alicia are done after the way the season ended. I will be interested in seeing how next season goes, though I would love to see more than 8 eps.
Bad, Bad, News...

I've just watched the show over the last month or two for the first time. I really missed Nathan when they showed him in the last episode of season 3. Only one original cast member left now, wonder how it'll turn out.
Why can't the US leave well enough alone. God damnit.
Shameless is one of the few shows I have seen redone that actually wasn't horrible. Being Human was ok, but I personally couldn't watch it without thinking of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Skins, oh god so bad. Besides... we already had our shot right?
