Last-minute "WTF Do I get this person for Christmas" thread

I like making handmade cards for people -- not just for my parents, who always tell me "Oh, you don't have to get us anything, honey", but also for relatives I'm not that close to. They usually love that it's one-of-a-kind and that I went to the trouble of making something specifically for them. Usually I try and customize them somewhat, even if it's just going to be fancy packaging for a giftcard -- random cute ones for aunts and such I don't really know, truck one for the uncle who's a truck driver, etc.:

I'm gonna leech of this thread since it's my problem as well.

I started dating this chick a little over a week ago. I thought we wouldn't even get each other gifts....or if we did....it'd be something small. Well she threw that out the window and got me something pretty nice...so I'm scrambling to get something nice for her. I've been conspiring with her mom.....and I'm down to three ideas that I'd have to pick up tomm.

1. iPod stereo dock. I get a really huge discount from my job, and she had a brand new ipod and prefers to sleep with some sort of background noise. Seems like a decent present imo. the one I'm looking at is around 150. I get 60% off of that, so it wouldn't be too bad.

2. Cashmere scarf. Her mom seems to think that a nice scarf like this would be great. The GF recently bought some scarves....but none are cashmere and/or that nice. She's really stylish/fashionable and, although I think it's a decent present, wouldn't be the best since she's probably pretty picky about that stuff.

3. Polaroid camera. She actually asked for this, but it still seems like a lame gift. The more I probe her about it, the more it seems like this is what she actually wants. I'm not totally convinced, though.
