This is where I realized you have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to spicy chicken sandwiches. Chic-fil-a's spicy chicken sandwich has no flavor what so freaking ever besides re-hydrated pickles. And to say they're actually spicy in itself is a lie. I literally ate mine halfway before me and my wife realized I was eating her spicy sandwich when I didn't order one because of heartburn.

When lettuce gets old, it loses its crispness, gets slimey, etc. With that said, its common practice in produce to use dyes to keep them looking fresh longer past their expiration date.

Most people don't care about toppings anyways when doing a burger run, but I'm a picky son of a bitch from growing up on diners and homemade goodness.

You obviously have a piss poor chickfila near you and the mecca of wendys. The spicy chicken at wendys here has no burn at all, except for the occasional chunk of pepper i nearly crack a molar on. Chickfila spicy here is actually spicy, not overwhelming, but it's a good balance with the rest of the flavoring in the breading. Where the hell do you live that your chicken world is so ass backwards?
