A minor one I've noticed was when you die and use the return command your movement speed will sometimes be very slow until you swap gear to make yourself blink.

Are you sure this is not lag from respawning? I guess if Corrderio confirms it is indeed a reoccurring problem. I will add a reviving section. Cause when you revive and change zones quickly you do not return to aetherite. And if you get cured as you die you will revive on the spot but be weakened.
It's happened to multiple people I know, a simple active/passive mode switch fixes it though.
It was listed that mobs that just loaded for you can immediately kill you (when crossing invisible zone lines usually), but also when mobs themselves spawn, they immediately aggro players as well. There is no brief period when a Malboro spawns on top of you that you can get the hell away from it before it's chasing and spitting shit at you. Especially terrible when fighting something (leve mobs) in an area that had recently been cleared out. I had a frustrating fail because my 3 Uncommon Cactuar Necrologos mobs spawned in a bat cave. I cleared the cave out of all Giant Bats (aggressive), killed the Curious Opo-opo leve targets, began fighting the Cactuars, a Giant Bat spawned on top of me, and it immediately began attacking me before I even had a chance to pull away from it and it got me killed.
Regarding the Return issue: selecting Return sometimes revives you but does not actually transfer you to your HP. And no, I didn't zone right after getting up.
It's possible that it has something to do with crossing those invisible lines.
I had two bugs recently that I've only encountered once.
The slow movement after a death that someone already mentioned.
And I completed a mining leve yesterday, chose to teleport to Horizon and it just left me in the middle of Nophica.
The 30 leve in Gridania where you kill monkeys for half an hour before 3 cactuars spawn is also bugged. When the cactuars kill you, they won't touch you when you go back to them. You can just stand there hitting them without fear.
Thanks for the suggestions. Please remember that it is preferred to have encountered a problem post recent updates. Also, please try to tell me the specific levequest name so I don't have to search around to figure out which one it is.
1) AFAIK, you can't "exchange" local leves, only regional.
2) There is a known Journal bug where leves do not display correctly after exchanging them (it may say that you still have leves to exchange when you do not, or display a leve that you just turned in instead of the one you just received). Relogging fixes it.
Yes you can... except it's called cancelling local levequests. You need to have 8 local leves to even do it (which sucks) and when you do you can't even simply cancel one of them, you have to pick a new one in its place. I also tried logging out but it didn't work, not a display glitch it simply gave me the same leve at a different rank.
The leve I'm talking about is "The Captain's Confectionaries", was Rank 10 when I picked it up (not 15 like I wrote earlier) and was actually at Rank 35 when I looked in my Journal (Item needed went from Rabbit pie to Sheperd's pie). Tried logging out and everything but it still was at Rank 35. Forgot which leve I exchanged it with but it probably was "Cord and Orders" rank 20.
I shouldn't even be able to pick up a rank 35 leve at my current rank as Culinarian (13) so I'm sure it wasn't at 35 before.
Also the Return glitch occured after the most recent VU, was walking from Iron Lake to Bloodshore, got killed by the bunch of traps in the area right before Bloodshore. HP was there as well but I didn't get teleported, only revived. I did start walking right after getting revived so it's possible I crossed one of those invisible lines and it cancelled the teleport.
I've had this happen more recently, and also found that it gets worse the longer I stay logged in. If I'm on for a couple days in a stretch it gets to the point that my BTN skills for locating nodes (not Triangulate) all appear to be instants lol, and to make it even better instead of the timer counting down it will show a timer starting at 0:00 and count to 0:01 and then appear ready.
Most annoying "problem" I encounter every day is not being able to invite or disband a party if someone is engaged in combat. I really hope they fix this.
This times a millon. You also can't teleport even if you are on the otherside of the world if someone is engaged. The system totally fucks us on an HNM fight for example where the tank DCs and we need to swap one in. Not that there are any atm, but it needs to be fixed before there are. There is absolutely no way to swap in a new tank without fully wiping. Also when in a party even if the other members are across the world they effect the exp and SP you receive. All of this makes doing leves while making a party of any kind a real pain in the ass.
@Mio this system isn't going to stop NM holding, skilled players will be able to hold shit infinitely just like FFXI. You can still get outside cures from people.
Pointless anyway since NMs rage after 30 minutes and depop on wipe
the lulz nms we have now anyway, future nms may be designed for epic fights. Kind of like how BV2 was designed, although we took a different route with that one.
>.>
Ground NMs a better example would be Jorm though. I hope all fight aren't limited to <30 mins, that would be gay.
I have a sneaking suspicion that you're correct, but why would they have all of these restrictive and downright maddening drawbridges when the castle isn't even half-finished? You'd think they'd have a switch for these kinds of features that they could have simply "turned on" once they actually had NMs and whatnot worth fighting. It just boggles the mind.
I dunno, maybe this is part of that whole thing they're trying to work out with China.
I've experienced the start with 0 stamina problem on multiple occasions. I've also been in fights and spammed abilities until my stamina bar was empty, then as i'm watching it build back up it drops down again without me doing anything.
edit: The only party sp/exp problem i've found is not being able to claim the monster at all if one or more members are too far away, usually if their hp/mp is shown as ???. It says the party leader is not present, even if the missing member(s) is not the leader.
Updated, when I get home I'm going to make a new thread detailing the process for sending this list to SE (along with links for the lazy) so we can hope SE will address some/all of these concerns. Hoping they read the forums is a little too much with all the arguing that occurs over nothing important :/
Maybe ill just bump this one. The link is in the OP, just copy and paste into the link provided! I know SE is lame and asks for character ID. it probably helps if you use authentic one but there is no verification to it.
