What a dumb fucking tard, he said it himself, it's not a question you can logically dissect over 4 minutes so why not just take the $500k and peace? Maybe if he had went to business school instead of law school he would know about hedging his bets and shit w/ law school + college you'd think he'd be more desperate for $500k to pay off his loans? Jesus
I hope that was the $100 question because what a dumb fucking bitch, EVEN IF YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT LENINS TOMB THE OTHER 3 ARE ALL INANIMATE FUCKING OBJECTS AND YOU WOULD HAVE TO KNOW THERES NOTHING WORTH EMBALMING IN ANY OF THEM. ON TOP OF THAT FUCKING EMBALMING AND TOMBS BOTH BEING ABOUT FUCKING PRESERVING THE DEAD ISN"T ENOUGH OF A TIP OFF YOU DUMB SLUT?
"Out of all places!" lmfao

New Millionaire is okay for what it is, a day time game show. If anything its more fastpaced then Regis b/c each question has a time limit and theres none of his bantering or silliness or the time trial to get into the hot seat on screen. I really want to go on it though, the questions seem significantly more dumbed down then Regis's iteration and I honestly think I could walk away with quite a bit of cash.
Wow, I.. have not even heard of this game show! I'll have to do more research on this.O.o
Generally speaking, when a show fucks up like this, they bring the contestants back. It's been a precedent set since after the game show scandals of the fifties. They also try to create questions/answers as specific as possible so they don't have to do it.
For some reason i've always been amused by are you smarter then a fifth grader. Makes you realize how much shit you forget as you move onto highschool and college and I kind of like Jeff Foxworthy. Every once in a while though me and the wife will put on the game show network and watch old episodes of price is right, family feud, jeopardy, and what not. But I can honestly say we've never watched any of the new shit like deal or no deal and what not.
Guy cheated his way through Who wants to be a Millionaire
So I'm all caught up.
Fun fact: On game show pilots, it's not uncommon for the sake of a pilot, to hire actors instead of contestants, to get the idea of the show's game play + memorable moments across. I'd weigh that the first episode was in fact a pilot, as the "dropped" graphic changes from the first to second episode. It's entirely possible that the amount of money lost doesn't matter, since the contestants were actors just going for a paycheck.
I could be wrong though, especially since this particular pilot was aired. If the couple was actually playing, then they're entitled by the producers to be offered a return visit.
The show is meh. Inverted Millionaire means the problems with Millionaire are there, just inverted.
Such a fascinating story. I've watched several documentaries on it, and it's interesting every single time, especially since how bad everyone involved was at it.
Fox is going to let them come back.

Gabe Okoye and girlfriend Brittany Mayti will get another chance to win some cash.
The couple, who lost $800,000 on FOX's "Million Dollar Money Drop" on Monday have been invited back to the game show to try their hand at winning yet again.
PLAY IT NOW: ‘Money Drop’ Mistake: Was The Post-It Actually Sold In The Late ‘70s?
"Unfortunately the information our research department originally obtained from 3M regarding when Post-it notes were first sold was incomplete," Jeff Apploff, "Million Dollar Drop's" executive producer said in a statement to Access on Thursday. "As a result of new information we have received from 3M, we feel it is only fair to give our contestants, Gabe and Brittany, another shot to play 'Million Dollar Money Drop' even though this question was not the deciding question in their game.
"The revised information regarding the Post-it is as follows: the product was originally tested for sale in four cities under the name 'Press 'N Peel' in 1977, sold as 'Post-its' in 1979 when the rollout introduction began and sold nationwide in 1980. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the viewers who brought this to our attention, and we're thrilled to give Gabe and Brittany the opportunity to return to play the game," he added.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Gabe and Brittany lost $800,000 on the FOX show on Monday night after giving a supposedly incorrect answer about the first sale date of Post-It notes - but was the answer truly incorrect?
"At the time, I thought [FOX] was correct," Gabe told Kit Hoover and guest co-host Lisa Rinna when he stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday. "I guess it wasn't."
On the game show, the couple was asked which product was first to be sold in stores in the U.S.: Post-It Notes, the Macintosh computer, or the Walkman. The duo chose Post-It Notes, and watched as $800,000 of their winnings disappeared - but the couple was technically correct, as the sticky notes were market tested in stores in four cities in 1977, beating the Walkman, which hit stores in 1979.
"I went on the Internet [after we lost], and I researched all of the questions [we were asked], and [the Post-It] one came up," Gabe told Kit and Lisa. "I was kind of taken aback by it because I thought the answer was a little it earlier, but... [I] trust that FOX did their research on it."

Jeff Apploff, "Million Dollar Money Drop's" executive producer, released a statement regarding the gaff on Wednesday, saying, "The integrity of the questions and answers on our show are our No. 1 priority. In this case, our research team spoke directly with 3M, and they confirmed that although they had given out free samples in test markets in 1977 and 1978, it wasn't until 1980 that Post-Its were officially sold in stores."
However, the network has yet to contact Gabe directly.

"Nobody's really made any kind of statement [to us]," Gabe told Kit and Lisa. "Right now it's just a bunch of Internet blogs and stuff like that right now.
"Ew! I wanna just give [the money] to you! You need to have that money!," Lisa exclaimed. "Come on! It's too close."
Kit agreed, asking, "Shouldn't [the show] just have you back on?"
"If they decide to [give us the money] then that's their decision, if not, then, you know, it is what it is," Gabe told Access' riled-up hosts. "Honestly, it was a lot of money -- you start thinking about what you could do with it, trying to help the family out.
"That's really what we wanted to do with it, is just help our families out," Gabe concluded.
I've got to fucking ask... How the shit did you NOT notice that within the first three of the bigger amount questions. If I were in charge I would have not even let that shit get passed the 4th maybe 5th cough, it was way to damn consistent to just be a coincidence.
You have to remember what you are hearing isn't what was broadcast / heard. That is all cleaned up and only the coughs / no only left in. It wasn't all clear like that, that was edited for the court case. I'm guessing it wasn't that clear right away, but that someone noticed. It was years ago now and I can't remember all the details, and ain't watching the whole thing again now so could be wrong.
I happen to like deal or no deal
And the college guy that got the easy electricity question wrong, I can actually see where someone who hasn't slept in a long time can get that confused. The first thing Surge makes you think is water, so if your brain is foggy you see "insurance" "surge" "flood" etc. and you might make a retarded choice too quickly (even though it's clearly electrical surge)
The woman with the embalming question, no excuse there. Embalming. Tomb. Should have been pretty simple. I mean, Stonehenge? Seriously?
The guy with the million dollar question: I actually thought it was yoo-hoo too, and I thought he was pretty charming, who cares if he takes up the whole 4 minutes or whatever, it's his time lol
And cheaters suck
Going back to the millionaire cheaters, I was curious if anyone knew stuff outside the vid. In particular, did they ever try to go back and research whether the wife and her brother cheated when they were on? Considering they both won the same amount and she flipped that the husband went too far, it sounds like they did it each time with the 32k mark as the cutoff thinking they wouldn't get caught at that low number.
I'd be interesting to know. I think though they might not be able to prove it if they cheating using the intial method they used on her husband.
This was always cool
fucking Brits and their crazy names. Tecwen? sounds like what some kid would name his character in an MMO.
