I've been chatting with Stan a lot whilst messing around with this. On the whole I really like it.
Would be nice to have a duplicate check when adding items. I realise other games may handle things differently but when adding things to the database its irritating in the extreme to find another copy. It also then messes up events if you delete an item after you've added it to one. Yes, I check but with 300+ items in there already and barely any events added I think it would be useful. Also multiple people are likely to be adding things in.
Customisations I can see being wanted are those which group events together for the purposes of stats. For example I run a separate shell which runs both Dynamis and Einherjar. Not everyone goes to both. It would be useful to be able to aggregate the attendance/points for all raids to dynamis events and see how peeps are doing. Same for Einherjar. I think I'd pay a lil extra for that functionality. The basic dkp system works well though for our main shell.
Custom system can do the attendance thing, and its free till beta is over. So few months. It does require knowing how to use JavaScript, or knowing someone in your LS who does. Once we are out of beta, Guildwork +2 will offer our one on one services in making a system tailored to you.
I talked to Stan about a similar situation yesterday. Our rules prevent anyone who's on probation from making bids. I asked him if there was a way do some error checking and throw a custom error in the event a situation like this occurs. Currently, this isn't possible but he did say it would not be difficult to implement.
Currently, my solution is to just throw an error (even tho its ugly) to prevent it from occuring. You can probably do the same for duplicate items(do this by using: throw 'msg'; )
This could be handled lots of different ways and It would depend on how your running these 'seperate' shells (ie: are they still all your members, or is it members from other shells too?).Customisations I can see being wanted are those which group events together for the purposes of stats.
I think the easiest would be to have two custom point values for each event type under one guild (ie: member.$.dynamis_points and member.$.einherjar_points ...or similar).
OR
You could also run multiple guilds in guildwork, tracking Einherjar runs for one, Dynamis for the other and your Main guild. You would track the specific event/linkshells normally, but within your main guild you would also track Einherjear and Dynamis, but award 0 points. You would have to do 2 sets of attendance though.
OR
You could do it via multiple guilds and adjustments. I don't recommend doing adjustments this way (not what it's designed for) but it could be done. I really don't want to wrap my head around this one because it would be more tedious than it's worth.
OR
You could run multiple guilds and use the export/import feature. You would need a custom JSON parser to strip the relevant information and re-format it to be importable into your main guild. Although, on a production build, I don't think this method would be recommended either.
OR
Stand will probably poke his head in and say something like 'why not do it the simple way stupid'. Then we will all revel under his glorious light and will ever forget I came up with silly solutions.
Bank is now live for DKP. Any feedback is appreciated.

So tired, nn!
Either I'm missing it or is there not a way for members to check to current bank balance?
There is no current balance it is a useless value, we found this out the hard way in Excellence.
People don't put in tax deductions properly and over time the value gets skewed or someone buys some poison pots for DL and forgets to add it, they are minor things. The purpose of the guild is for the the bank to be able to see what is being done with the money.
I will add the total feature but it will say that its estimated so people don't assume its correct to the digit.
Just to give an idea to how inaccurate the total can become...ours was 286,284,433 Gil off.
Stan you've probably explained this to me thousand times all ready but, everytime i delete someone from member list, it makes them a leader.. Any idea whats wrong with that?
Stan -
I think it may depend on the guild. Mine is Einherjar only, so we only take the money out for 180k runs... so it's good to know how much gil is in the bank so that I know how many more runs we can fund.
It does get off a bit with AH tax, as I usually don't account for that, but that's minimal in my case, where the overall balance is definitely an important feature.
I'm very interested in migrating my current LS forums and points system to the Guildwork system. Already have a guild set up etc and played around with a few things.
My main concern is that currently we run 2 attendance/points systems. 1 system is strictly for Einherjar, and the other system is for all other events. Is it possible to have 2 DKP systems set up for 1 guild?
Also, is it possible to migrate forums directly into Guildwork?
I would like to inform anyone that was waiting for release.
We will NOT be wiping Guildwork anymore for release.
You can read more about it on our full blog post.

Thank you for supporting us!
Thanks to all the users who previously signed up for the Public Preview and helped shape Guildwork to what it has become. We have officially launched today. This will be my last post on BG about Guildwork, but I am here to show our new landing page that will explain what Guildwork is to those who were afraid to sign up before.
http://www.guildwork.com/
You will find a small feature break-down and a video on what Guildwork is now so its easier to tell friends about it.
For those interested in LS site hosting here is an example:

Or more specifically the awesome loot tracking.
And for those that signed up previously here is our launch blog post.
Hopefully this solves all those questions that pop up about how people track/distribute their loot.
We hope you give it a try. =)
Hell yeah, this is amazing.
love it.. wish more people used it
