My parents got me a new Knee Brace and I bought myself assorted Skateboard goodies to replace my haggard gear.
Both are in the mail somewhere thanks to the snow storms hitting the UK and Europe.

Probably get assorted amounts of cash from other relatives later today which I'll stick in the bank because I'm a boring bastard. Or I'll spend it on booze/the STEAM sales.

Got other relatives/family fuck all under the agreement of not buying things for each other.

Not much really - but we bought a house at the start of the month and have had help from both sets of parents in terms of buying paint, DIY help, legal fees and stuff. Couple of games from hubby (funnily ones he wants to play as well), little cuddly Gruffalo toy, sweets and stuff and I know when we go to see 'em my mum's got me a set of three prints for the walls in the bedroom.

As is usual I spent far too much on my family - got about two boxes of presents to run up to them when the snow eases off this week.

got some socks, chocolate covered macadamia nuts, a screwdriver with multiple heads, and my dad made me some chocolate covered bacon.

fucking hate having to spend 1 day with gfs family and 1 day with mine during the holidays when we visit. I'd rather just not travel and have the holiday tbh lol...

I got a LOT of clothes! And I'm actually happy about it.

Didn't really need/want much in the way of electronics, and since I have to dress for my job these days, and I'm pretty fashionably inept, all 3 of my brothers and my mom/dad bought me clothes.

My brothers got me some nice camisoles, skirts, stockings, blouses, and a new pair of Mary Janes. (Size 4 fuck yeah) My oldest brother got me this big ass wool gothica lolita looking button down jacket, it's really cute. My mom and dad got me a dress suit that ACTUALLY looks good on me. I never thought it was possible with my body type.

Was curious when my mom randomly asked me what my measurements were when we were out shopping for clothes the other day. All and all, pretty happy with what I got. Not the most expensive shit in the world but it's something I needed and really appreciated getting.

Don't push your crappy values on us! Our family isn't rich by any means. We're middle class, so we're not giving each other $1000 scarves like Wops family (only assuming here) but we like to do $150-200 for each other. (Only talking about parents here) Christmas to us is a fun day, and we truely like getting each other stuff. Sure getting stuff is nice. I like seeing how people react to what I get them. Then going over to my uncles and exchanging gifts with them. We have a fun family, so 7 or 8 hours just flies by and then the day is over. I'm my moms only child, and I'm 29, but she still loves to get me a bunch of stuff for me to have. If you don't want to do it, well then fine.

That being said, so far from everyone...

I got nothing really, atheist parent + I buy myself pretty much whatever I want/need, short of ridiculous presents worth tens of thousands of dollars (new car and such, etc. that nobody in my family can really afford anyways) but I want some of those Yoshi slippers goddamnit that's awesome!

My grandparents gave me some cash for Hannukah, as is their wont, despite my yearly protests, idk guess I'll buy some weed and give some of the money to www.ikat.org

You press the hand and it switches modes. One mode is just random sounds, one is sing-a-long, one is singing chords.

You squeeze it's belly and it sings! I'm on skype right now with friends making it sing for them lol.

Uncharted 2 (Confused why they didn't buy me 1, or neither, since I haven't played the first one. I heard it doesn't matter though)
iBeats by Dre (I wanted the Tours but they got confused, still worth it imo. Also I think it works on Android could be wrong.)

My brother got a few games too:

DJ Hero 2 (I'll play the shit out of this)
NCAA 2011 or some shit
Fallout New Vegas
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
and some random other shit.

I also got $25 from Grandma and over the course of december I've bought multiple games from Steam and renewed FFXI and bought all the addons I was missing.

Overall: strangely satisfied, last couple of christmas's for me have been complete shit. Personally FFXI really made this christmas for me, I haven't had this much fun in a long time.

Shitty part about today: I have to work in 3 hours, and then open tomorrow so I have to wait a bit to really dig into my new games.
