And if someone has time, can you post a ideal rng tp set. Im no Rng and my wife usually just gears how i tell her. and im kinda clueless when it comes to rng.

snapshot+5 will reduce your ranged attack delay by 10% which effectively increases your DoT by 11% (1/.9). Loki's increases your critical hit dmg by 5%. Assuming you can shoot constantly you want Snapshot+3 over Loki's for TP. WS is a different story

Definitely not for WS, since you are likely capped on crit dmg + before hands.

They should be ok to TP on if you are capped on haste before hands for maximizing tp damage.

Orthrus' GKT is probably the best other than trial weapons. Perle if you're using the full set for 5% haste (unless you're haste capped without it); otherwise Hauby+1 is much better.

Unfortunately snapshot only reduces one part of ranger delay. The amount of time it takes to put away the weapon and the 'free' time following remains the same no matter the delay of the ranged weapon. I can't remember what the exact numbers are but I think its something like 1.9 and 1.1 seconds respectively that you cant do a damn thing about. I always would math out ranger stuff in real time because of that but eventually I did like everyone else and just changed jobs.

I thought that the Arrow delay wasn't added to the actual "shooting time" delay, but did add to the TP gained.

So shooting with a hypothetical 300 delay arrow would fire just as fast in-game as shooting a hypothetical 10 delay arrow, but you'd get the extra TP from the added 290 delay difference between the 2...

However, I never attempted to maths this out myself.

Augmented wivre gorget with +crit. That's pretty much the only thing that's going to help your damage if you're acc capped. Otherwise, an acc neck piece, or the Mavi Scarf. BLU has shitty neck options.

You can do the scattered shells quest in vunk for a pair of darkness earrings augmented to -2% physical dmg taken.
