THF and MNK can use Loki's for TP pretty comfortably I think. The trend for NIN is to use AF(+1).

MNK should be using Emp(+2) (at least during Impetus). Loki's is a good TP piece for thief, may or may not actually be the *best*, depending on mob def, dagger choice and whether or not you're capping haste/how much outside haste you have.

My max crit with Twashtar, Alcide's Harness +1, and Charis Feather on DNC was only 220, iirc. That makes it like 2-3%. It is probably the same as NQ, and certainly is less than I was hoping for.

Hello, im looking for advice on Chant du Cygne WS because im not sure i quite understand how to calculate what is better for me, i know this question has already been answered before and i apologize for that, but all help i could get on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

I have been using Nightfyre's set as a model so far ( http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/140349 ), but i just cant understand how Tumbler trunks beats AF+2, cause in the end its 8STR and 3DEX vs 14 attack.
Im using red curry buns so i can get all the attack i possibly can from food, but i imagine other blus do so also, and still use stuff like alcide's hands and feet +1 instead of Lithe boots or Mirage hands.

I am currently aiming to get alcides hands and feet +1, and also a cuchulain belt (rarely ever one in AH though...) i guess obviously would should aim for DEX+4 earring too, but on siren there isnt even a record of there being one.
Also, should i make space for att+ bonus trait? Its 6 points for 10 attack, 2STR and 3DEX

The value of increasing base damage is much reduced since you have so much of it already in Abyssea. If you're fSTR capped (not an unreasonable assumption inside Abyssea) Mavi +2 lose easily. If it's uncapped, Tumbler generally win. The exception would be if the extra DEX from Mavi +2 adds 2 base damage instead of 1, in which case it will win in uncapped fSTR situations. Mavi +2 is obviously better if pDIF capped.

Penitence +2, absolution +2, Woeborn in order of best and your level of laziness. WoE is hell, yes, but it IS doable. I've done 4 weapons through WoE solo joining groups (as in teaming up, not leeching runs), you can get it done too if you have enough patience. If it's just not for you, i'd go with the absolution +2.

You do know the math is very simple and straight forward on this, right? Teal Slops *should* beat Morrigan's on tier4s, but I believe I had it mathed out that Goetia+1 wins on tier5s due to higher base damage.

SH has more Eva, DNC AF3+2 has much more Subtle Blow. Situations where Alcide's Harness +1 would be useful are rare enough that I sold it back immediately after testing it.

2% Haste, then eat pizza to cap your acc.

However, for future refference here's how to calulate them:
5% hitrate increase: Goes from 75% to 80%. 80/75= 1.066667 = 6.67% increase.
2% haste increase: Goes from 23% to 25%. (100-23)/(100-25)= 1.0266667 = 2.67% Increase.

Don't forget that you will have haste spell on yourself too though, so it would be (100-(23+15))/(100-(25+15)), which is 3.33%

Acc wins, but like I said, Pizza+1 and you should be fine. And if it's high enough level that you're at 75% Acc WITH pizza, then you probably shouldn't be meleeing it.
