(I do make one suggestion, perhaps epona is better on thundersoul/raja's spot but not a math's person here, so not sure.)
"Well, if you use Striking Flourish -> Rudra's with the AF3+2 body, you get about a 50% crit rate on the main hit (and probably DA). I've been doing some one-shotting with my Rudra's. It's probably still not a responsible WS to use, but I pull a monster or two between ??? re-pops and build 300TP/5 finishing, pop the NM when the ??? respawns, toss up a Samba and Saber Dance, build back up to 300TP, and do a Striking Flourish -> Rudra's -> NFR -> Reverse Flourish -> Evisceration (Darkness). Then I have AM3 up and the monster is missing a laaarge chunk of life. "- Byrth's quote
This is just to demonstrate that whoever who said rudra is suboptimal without SA/TA is inaccurate, friend has used that above strategy and got very impressive results. Don't forget if you're getting the real deal, the aftermath is amazing too with RR atma.
The fact is DNC probably makes the 2nd best self SC behind SAM, given how they got skillchain bonus and can readily make self SC themselves.
