Yea, my bad, starts with 8, half of 8, half of 4, half of 2.
Also thanks Nightfyre, would either strat rdmx2 or rdm + blu, /nin on each?
Jyeshtha has a move that causes Paralyze and Tammuz can petrify, so RDM/WHM + job/NIN may be the better setup for those two. I'd do BLU/NIN or RDM/NIN (stun, flash vs better FC and Stoneskin) + RDM/WHM for Jyeshtha, job/NIN + job/NIN for Capricornus (he's really not bad at all), and RDM/WHM + RDM/NIN for Tammuz (iirc he resists pretty much everything enfeeb wise so BLU would take more damage) for safest setups. If you bring your alts then can go more towards whatever is going to kill fastest.
Thanks a bunch, this will definately work out.
good set up for Mictlantecuhtli?
Hello!
I was curious and could not find the answer - does Excalibur properly account for HP atmas/cruor boost?
Thank you.
Any melee/NIN + mage combo. Rdm/Nin and Smn can both solo it, probably more jobs too. He's not hard at all. /Nin is useful for avoiding Drain, which is his only powerful attack. Can TP on him up to 100% then turn, or just keep hitting it, and WS during Casting/TP moves. If you're nuking, only cast when he's not using a spell/TP move. Fairly straightforward. He can be Para/Slow'd. Basically if the DD doesn't suck at WS'ing during a TP move/spell, or have horrid WS damage, the minor healing the NM will get from building TP on it is a non-issue.
MNK/NIN + WHM, back-tank until he starts casting, then turn and TP, and WS when you've got TP and he isn't casting. It'll heal him, but that's the only way to trigger blue !!. Once you've got blue !!, TP/WS when he's casting. A regain atma isn't a bad idea, since you'll spend most of your time not hitting him. May want to consider Formless Strikes at the beginning to establish some hate.
DRK with Twilight Scythe always seemed like it would be fun, but blue !! trigger options are limited.
Edit: sloooooow
ok thanks for the info guys.
It's not charmga; it's single-target!
btw sam/nin worked good just a little hard to get hate at start and claim him.
lol.
You won't get banned for pinning. Worst case some retard sees you and calls a gm, and the gm is retarded and doens't know the rules (not that uncommon unfortunately) and makes you give it up. Afterwards the person who called the gm steals it, and you move zones and try again. Of course it is unlikely anyone would ever been in a vnm area, so that's not really very likely. But again, you won't get banned, unless you absolutely refuse to stop when told, and even then...
So... we upgraded our SAM's Walk of Echos GKT, and it's... um.... shit. How do you make Tachi: Fudo not suck? I'm not sure what his WS gear is, I know he bought a Byrnie+1 for it, and his Tachi: Gekko gear was good, but it's been under-performing left right and center. He's missing a couple of the better STR atma, but that's it. I've got the WoE knuckles, our WAR has the WoE Gaxe, and both are doing almost twice Fudo's damage, not counting double/triple attack spikes.
With all that some people here say about Fudo, I was expecting great things, but I'm at a loss here. What is he missing?
Probably nothing. Ukko's and Smite are just that much better in Abyssea.
Edit: Which atma are he using exactly?
But... we're outside of Abyssea and it still sucks.
