Merman's + Colossus Mantle, Avalon Breastplate, Twilight Torque, Denali Wristbands is 26% (caps MDT with Shell V) and allows you to retain capped gear haste. Additional MDT if needed would come in the form of Lore (+1) gear.

Regarding the NIN TP back discussion, pretty sure Atheling Mantle takes all when acc capped and pDIF uncapped. In a related vein, Dusk Gloves +1/Twilight Belt/Usukane Sune-ate gogo.

What would be a good upgrade from a vbhuj, outside of empy/-1? (working on another empy, don't do WoE) Was looking at the DA+, dmg 118 with a 514 delay seems pretty nice.

Also, in regards to DWing, what would be a good mainhand axe nowadays? Empy seems very geared towards bst with the WS. And would the OA2-4 axe be better then a ridill for offhand?

I have completed the quest 'Hope Blooms on the Battlefield' in Abyssea - Konschtat and Raibaht will not flag the Martello quest which should logically follow. I even zoned in and out. I even waited a game day. Neither wiki states any other form of prerequisite. If it matters, I even did the quest delivering linkpearls to the 3 camps, subsequently zoned and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

GAX: STP if you need it for a 5-hit build, WS Damage if you don't.

Axe: Pretty sure STR, DA, and WS Damage are going to be your top contenders, but not sure which are best for which situation.

i assume this is with the set effect being acknowledged to be garbage huh

just curious, since i've got iga +2 and usukane both at my disposal, but i don't want to go and not utilize something that's clearly better with the knowledge in mind

I see lots of people fail to brew this mob, I think it has high magic defence so nuking doesnt seem to work well and I've seen monks fail too. So which job would be the best and which ws?

Any, as long as you don't suck, and aren't nuking (earth crusher, go).

wildfire cor was stupid easy...wildfire>wildfire>darkness + wildfire>wildfire>darkness = dead rani


edit: even easier if you have +1 or +2 feet done using fire shot.

Any worthwhile augments to be had for MNK from Dominion notes? I doubt I'll get any thing great for TP/WS... but I'm thinking maybe it's possible to get some half decent VIT pieces for Chakra or something...

Notes or trophies? Notes are used for base AF3+2 bodies, or weapons. Trophies get you the armor's, but they arent NPC sellable.

Gotcha... so the notes are just there to convert into gil at this point, I don't need any AF3 bodies, and the weapons all suck for MNK.
