I'm not buying this that easy. Addicional hits all have sTP bonus also so assuming it was at least /sam brutal and rajas its very easy to mistake 7 and 8 hit drakesbane by forgeting to add that 0.2 on every sub hit.

It was a 25 TP return, and I didn't get hit because it killed the mob.

It obviously depends on what mob you are fighting. Some mobs you won't be capped with 1.2k attack, normally NMs.

Someone posted in the armor thread that it's -5 enmity on the spells, but I don't think there were any details of the testing included.

The above is correct.

Torcleaver has a higher ceiling similar to how Kaitan has a higher ceiling than Gekko at 100% tp. Torcleaver's modifier isn't as good as scythe's, but its ftp is way better, 4.75 vs 3.00. However, Quietus does get a decent ignore defense trait which is the same idea as a cratio bonus. So it depends. If your friend likes to lowman, which I would think would be low on attack even with cruor and atma buff, and likes to play with NMs, then I think scythe is the way to go. But if your friend is usually buffed (cor brd etc etc), and likes the idea of high WS number on normal mobs, GS is the way to go. To put it simply, ask him if he like guillotine better or spinning slash better before empyrean. If he likes guillotine better, then do GS, if he likes spinning slash better, then do scythe. Kinda ironic but that's how it is, the role of the two weapons are completely reversed.

I've been using griffon claw and smiting blow and depends on what i'm doing either RR or VV. Usually RR when exping and VV when doing nms and such. Seems to work out alright.

No, you should get credit for a WS kill. Are you certain nothing weird is happening like weather dropping the second you WS (troll GM)?

Ya, I'm 110% sure that the mob was EP, and it only happened when I got the killshot with Jin. I have the magian katana on my offhand....does that make a difference? I don't remember having the offhand issue on my THF though.

you should be getting credit assuming: you actually have the trial, mob is atleast ep, weather is up for the kill. could you have finished the trial and didn't see the message?

No, I didn't finish the trial yet. Like I said, it only happened when I killed with Jin...normal melee kills were fine. And no, I'm not BSing or trolling you guys on this. I got XP/crystal, but no trial message, it was fucked. I even did it a few times in case it was a fluke, and 3/3 Jin killshots netted me no trial credit.
