Where/who is the npc to review Caturae titles?
Zuah Lepahnyu (Near Airship to Kazham) Port Jeuno ( J-8 )
When proccing grellow, if a spell gives an NM enough TP, then immediately uses a TP move, is the spell clean? I.e. back tanking Wherwetrice THF/NIN, not feeding it TP, BLM casts Flare, Wherwetrice uses Sound Vacuum. I always assumed it was clean, but I'm sure I could be wrong...
I'm fairly certain its not just on my end but is anyone else having trouble with: /cm t ?
Changing to other chat modes seems fine, but tells gives a command error. Not a huge deal because I can go through the menus and whatnot, but was curious.
Have to specify a person to tell, so just use yourself. I know I do that whenever I maybe start fudging around with editing my txts just in case something may bleed into the chat log instead.
Oh derp... I'm so out of it today.
Plz read whole post or try to read harder.
What I mean is if you fight and pop sentinel and get +100 enmity then your CE enmity gonna drop slower rather then faster (because every action you do will cover every loss 2x faster). I know that same dmg lets say 100 will cause you to lose same CE with 0 and with +100 enmity but I was saying about losing less hate indirectly not directly with use of sentinel.
just a repost of a question from a few days ago- does a 5/5 phalanx II with the new enhancing magic cap exceed the damage mitigation of phalanx? Obviously a question of self-cast.
Unlikely. Assuming the formula did not change - highly unlikely considering its behaviour above 320 skill but using 350 skill as a baseline - Phalanx 1 is stronger than 2 with same enhancing skill, Phalanx 2 lasts longer but mostly moot point with Composure.
Kinda new to endgame WHM - I know /sch was always the way to go pre-Abyssea, how does it compare to /rdm and /blm nowadays with the 90 cap and the fact that MP isn't really an issue anymore?
/Sch default sub, /Rdm for Ovni or you don't want to mess around with dark arts for said dispel, /Blm if you're the only person who can Stun and desperately need Stun for what you're fighting.
How exactly do MDT and MDB work together? All the usual places have them listed as capping at 50% separately, but I just want to make sure that if you cap them separately there won't be any superfluous MDT/MDB I'm using.
More Clearly, with 12 MDB in traits on RDM and 24 from shell, if I equip 14 MDB in gear will I receive the full bonus of equipping -50% MDT in gear? Or is there some sort of 'haste cap' on magic defense where there is an overall cap that would nerf the overall effect? I can't really see a way to get to -50% MDT but I suppose the opportunity could arise one day.
My set up:
MDB from trait/shell/lamia mantle +1/Magian staff=50%
-MDT from Coral +1/Vallus Grip/Twilight Torque/Dark Rings/Mermans Ears/Lieu Sash=39%
I am gaining the full benefit of that 39 MDT right?
Yes, and rate of enmity loss and rate it's gained are two completely separate independent things. They have absolutely nothing to do with each other.
If getting hit for 500 damage removes 500 ce (too lazy to look up the formula) without sentinel, but removes 1k with it, then you're losing enmity twice as fast, regardless of how quickly you gain it.
Just because it's bullshit doesn't make your logic right.
