I dunno how frequently Earth weather will occur there, but you could always kill the Goblin's Beetles in Sauromugue [S].

It seems unlikely, just because normally you outdistance meteor to avoid dying horribly, and if you have to keep doing that solo you won't be able to do much damage

Have duoed this with ease with bad RDMs at 85(nearly a solo), don't see how you couldn't solo this at 90 if you are anything better than retarded. Meteor was barely breaking stoneskin with 50% MDT iirc.

I want to attempt tanking abyssea on my mnk. Can I have a description of the builds and the gear they consist of in order to pull it off successfully?
Oh and what atmas I would need also.
Could I also get a list of jobs for 5-6 people that would be able to do mostly anything in abyssea. Thank you

Mnk or Nin with whm is able to handle most abyssea nms. I guess optimum for the other 3 would be Blm and Brd for magic dd/support/grellow !! and War for dd/red !!.

MNK, WHM, BLM, BRD, BLU, WAR or NIN should have you set really. Could also drop the mnk and go WHM, BLM, BRD, BLU, WAR, NIN and then have all yellow and red covered.

But really, if you are taking a nin + war , there is no need for a mnk. If you dont care for KI/red, then you can drop them altogether.

Raiden Thrust is WAR, DRG, PLD main but I assume you meant Koki and not Raiden Thrust?

Won't be able to get Koki until 95, where it will require you to sacrifice your ZM earring on it anyway. 99 it'll be doable.

Actually it's 9/13, but you can also get jinpu and energy drain.
