WTS 7.1 True Surround Sound Receiver
This is a link to the description of the unit: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung+...&skuId=1425154
Keep in mind this is just for the receiver. It works great, and the only reason I am looking to sell it is because I am upgrading my entire home entertainment system. It is 5.1 & 7.1 true Surround Sound. That means it's not upscaling 5.1 to work on 7 speakers, every speaker works independently and it truly sounds awesome for video games & blue rays. It has multiple HDMI and options for all sorts of connections (look at link for more detailed description).
It has been kept in a rather dust / sun light free location of my home so it looks like new & has no scratches, ect.. I am looking for $100 (including shipping) for it.

not that i'm the biggest on this subject but doesnt 5 speakers and a sub mean a 5.1 surround? 7.1 would mean 7 speakers(which this doesnt come with?)?? or is it just upgradable to 7.1

I'm just selling the receiver (the speakers that it came w/, outside of the subwoofer, were a PoS anyways and have been replaced since I purchased it). The receiver has connectors for 5.1 & 7.1 surround. Meaning 5 or 7 speakers +subwoofer. It's pretty easy to set-up (imo).
I found a box that I could use to ship it, so I'm changing it to $150 (includes shipping w/in the U.S.). That should save the person 30'ish+ dollars from shipping.

Meh, since no interest... I'll lower price to 100$ shipped.

How much do the speakers for these usually run for?

Speakers are w/e you want to spend on. I like the receiver, had to upgrade it because I recently bought a 3d TV and the receiver doesn't support the 1.4 or w/e version you need for 3D TV.
I am not selling the speakers, but id say spend around 50-75 for each speaker. Prolly closer to 75$ for the 3 front & 2 sides, and cheaper for the 2 in the rear since they get the less use and generally don't use as much power / aren't as loud. Anything more expensive will prolly be better then the receiver can push before going into safety mode and shutting off if you really crank it load. And by loud I mean loud lol, it can go up to decible 50, and I could turn it up to 40/42 before hitting safety mode on extra hard hitting bass parts. It's a good receiver, but if your looking for an "A quality" system obviously wouldn't buy it.
But w/ the speakers I was using, and the default speakers when I used them. It sounded great. I only know a bit more know since I had to upgrade my receiver and I learned a lot more about sound quality this weekend. But I have no complaints w/ the receiver and would keep using it if it supported 3D HDMI output

I'm interested but Funds right now are extremely limited since I don't know when they will cut off my unemployment and I have to wait till a month until I can start working in the school, so if it's on sale then I'll be more interested
-
Np Ragnell, if none else are interested I'll hold onto it until you can afford it. Just give me a rough estimate of when you think you will have the funds so I can remind myself around that time.
