The King's Speech, True Grit, Inception, How To Train Your Dragon, Toy Story 3, and Tangled are my favourites.

I've heard good things about The Social Network, The Kids Are All Right, Winter's Bone, 127 Hours, The Town, Another Year, Black Swan, and The Fighter.

I think that the Oscars will be between The King's Speech, True Grit, The Social Network, and Black Swan

My least favourites were The Bounty Hunter, Killers, Sex and the City 2, and Robin Hood. There are probably a lot more for that category though.

I just watched Winter's Bone. Good, but I don't think it was as good as some of the critics built it up.

I need to see "The King's Speech" asap.

    No order:

    Black Swan
    Inception
    Easy A
    Never Let Me Go
    I Love You Phillip Morris
    The Kids Are All Right
    True Grit
    Toy Story 3

I haven't watched it yet...but I have a feeling I'll really enjoy Blue Valentine, as well.

Man, what a crappy year. At the beginning of 2010 I thought it was going to be an awesome year for blockbusters. All the summer blockbusters were let downs.

My top picks in no order:
Tron -- Went it with low expectations and came out pleased.
The Other Guys -- For my money, this was the best comedy of the year.
    Red -- Pretty entertaining movie.
Kick Ass -- Finally, a movie title that delivers what it promises.
Black Swan -- One of those "slow" movies that I thought was well paced.
The American -- I pretty much will see all movies starring George Clooney.

I also enjoyed the first two Millennium Trilogy (Dragon Tattoo) movies. Waiting for the third to go on Netflix.

I haven't seen King's Speech yet but I plan to before the Oscars

    Overrated:
The Ghost Writer -- This was a TV movie at best.
Toy Story 3 -- I didn't really get sucked into all the sappiness. Plus it seemed like the same ol' plot to me.

    Underrated:
Unstoppable -- This movie may seem like a run of the mill action movie but it kept my attention the whole way through. Very entertaining.
Faster -- like Unstoppable but to a lesser degree.
Knight & Day -- I really liked this tongue-and-cheek action flick.
She's Out of My League -- This comedy had a lot of heart. T. J. Miller stole the movie with some hilarious lines. But most of all, Alice Eve is wicked hot.

    Refuse to see:
Let Me In -- From seeing the trailer I could tell they took all subtlety out of the remake.
The Social Network -- Out of principle I plan on never seeing this movie. I just want all references to Facebook to go away from my consciousness.
Shrek Forever After -- So glad this unfunny movie franchise is done.

    Most hated:
Karate Kid -- First of all, this movie did not need to get remade. Second, Will Smith's spawn was waaaaaaaaay too young to play the role. And third, THE MUTHER FUCKER LEARNED "KUNG FU" NOT KARATE. Makes me rage again just thinking of it.

    Movie of the Year:
True Grit -- The writing was so good. The word play between characters was so fast and sharp that I will have to see it again just to get some of the dialogue that I missed.

What was at all appealing about the Girl who played with Fire movie? It cut out 90% of the subtlety of the book. Also fuck both movies for not exactly explaining why Lisbeth is distant with Mikael.

Going to watch True Grit tonight, but man this year has been awful for movies:

Tron - Awesome movie in 3D
    Social Network
    Wall Street 2
    Black Swan
    Inception

The rest all sucked or I haven't seen them yet (I've seen most).

Black Swan is at the top of my list.

Toy Story 3, Kick-Ass, and How to Train Your Dragon are among my favorites. I didn't really see too many movies this year.

I just finished watching Black Swan.

All I really have to say is: What the fuck?

(Yeah, yeah I get all the allusions to Swan Lake and all the symbolism and the mirrors and shit but seriously, that's a fucked up movie)

I just saw this last night and although it does have it's moments (mainly lulz) and the girl (Nell) was somewhat cute the answer is what Qal said, No.

It's sad how few people saw Scott Pilgrim vs The World.

Not really in any order but the stand outs were

    Inception
    Scott Pilgrim
    Kickass
    How To train Your Dragon
    Iron man 2

Because it's a pretty niche movie that appeals pretty much only to 12-35 year old manchildren. Unless you dig comic books, video games, and/or indie rock, odds are its not your cup of tea.
