Pretty sure Kolb is making 12m this year and like 1.5 next year which is a steal for a starting QB.

What a fucking retard. He's losing 40 million or so by doing this, period.
Draft is in April, Owners locking out the players come March. This is why he didn't declare. Even if he did, there was a good chance he'd be stuck with said lowered rookie contract if it comes about.

luck has stated over and over he really wants his degree in architecture. I can't think of a single player in recent memory that aspired to be anything after they were done with football.

Most of them are too concussed to remember where they went to school, let alone do anything with their degrees.

I had to look it up but he signed a 1 year extension at a base salary of $715,000 with a $10.5 million signing bonus. One report said he doesn't receive the bonus until the extension kicks in and another said he got it right away. I really don't know how that works in the NFL so you may be right.

Honestly I dunno why people are bashing Luck. Not everyone who gets into the NFL leaves it with good offers. Alot of guys go into professional sports like the NFL, NBA, etc and afterwards end up poor and destitute unless you happen to be one of the greats, or Trent Dilfer. Fucking Kurt Warner was one of the great QBs, with a Super Bowl ring, and he didn't get on ESPN or anything yet, although I'm sure down the line he'll end up somewhere primetime. And with the possible lockout, he's better off just finishing his year, I doubt anyone is getting Sam Bradford money anymore anyway.

red ryan is a fucking idiot. tom brady takes everything as bulletin board material, and rex said brady doesn't prepare as much as manning. It sounds like nothing, but I'm pretty sure if the jets win, brady will eat rex's children.

dude does way too much talking for how bad his team is

Wha about that one guy whose name I don't remember who was the Rhodes scholar and wanted to be a doctor after the NFL? I think he was a 6th round pick this year by the Titans or something, his draft stock fell because he explicitly said he had those plans and the scouts said he wasn't dedicated enough.

Edit: Myron Rolls, he's a safety

I don't care how true it is lol. you don't give a guy like brady an extra reason to fuck you up, especially after the 45-3 beatdown a month ago

I won't even go into the fact the pats have had an extra week to study the jets - though, they probably spent the most time on the chiefs this week.

It is pretty silly how it hurt Rolle's draft stock that he had a goal other than football. Did they think he was going to get a job offer or something like halfway through a season and take off?
