Randall Cunningham would have a championship if the white man Gary Anderson didn't keep him down. Elway would have been no match for Randall.

yea, and chances are I'll see him at the bars in a few weeks. he likes to hang out in his home town at the bars during the offseason. he won't sign autographs, acknowledge who he is, and makes his buddies buy the drinks. Kinda wanna buy him a few (hundred) AMFs and see where the night goes

If the Falcons play that passively in January, they will lose just like Marty always did. Mark my words. Take it to the bank. Lock it down. End of story. Period. Fin. well as long as we're all quoting bill simmons
The Seahawks have lost nine of 15 games; each defeat was by 15 points or more. They've scored 32 touchdowns and given up 47. They've been out-rushed by 40 yards per game and outpassed by nearly 50 yards per game. They don't have a 500-yard rusher or a receiver with 750 yards. They have the fifth-worst turnover differential (minus-9). Their DVOA rating on Football Outsiders is minus-27.7 (third worst in the league). They're 2-7 in November and December, with those two wins coming against Arizona and Carolina (combined record: 7-23). They're almost definitely starting Charlie Whitehurst, aka Clipboard Jesus. And what's the biggest thing they have going in their favor?
The stadium can get loud.
Seahawks have to win.
I want my sub.500 playoff team.
bears homerism aside:
why is everyone slurping so hard on the packers? 3-3 since their bye week, and last 4 wins have been against the Giants, 49ers, Vikings and Cowboys.
I wouldn't exactly call that cruising into the playoffs, even if they beat Chicago in what is basically a meaningless game for the Bears. (bears homerism: although I hope Chicago wins just to keep GB out of the playoffs)
thats not fair, i think we need to reevaluate sanchez as a scorer
scores on the field
scores on ines sainz
scores on rex ryans wifes feet
sorry my train of thought just went away miami just threw another interception lawl
compare qbs. cutler vs rodgers; who is better I wonder and capable of throwing a perfect game and putting his team on his back? Who has a better pass D? I'll take the pack all year vs bears
This is homerism. Homefield advantage is meaningless. Gotcha. Granted the Falcons play early so the Bears will know but they still have a chance to make the road to the Super Bowl go thru Chicago. I'd say that means something.
This is not homerism. Hoping your teams wins AND eliminates a dangerous opponent from the playoffs isn't homerism. It's smart. Would you rather play the Pack or the Giants/Bucs? I'd go with the latter.
If anything, people (like myself) are onboard the Rodgers train. Since the bye week he is 3-1 in games he finished (3-2 including Det meltdown). 101/144 (70.1%), 1,393 passing yards, 12 TDs, 1 INT, 113.1 passer rating, 162 rush yards on 23 attempts with 1 TD and 1 Fumble lost. If I were the Bears or any other NFC team, I'd be afraid. Very Afraid.
P.S. - Archi hacked my account.
I love u bill
Enduring lesson from 2010: This game features a top-10 fantasy QB (Matt Cassel), two of the top-5 fantasy running backs (Jamaal Charles and Darren McFadden) and the best fantasy receiver (Dwayne Bowe), proving yet again that FANTASY FOOTBALL IS A COMPLETE F------ CRAPSHOOT AND WE ARE IDIOTS FOR DOING FOUR WEEKS OF MOCK DRAFTS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE F--- IS GOING TO HAPPEN BECAUSE THERE IS NO F------ WAY TO KNOW!!!!!! Sorry. Had to go all caps there. There's a solid chance I'm locking myself out for the 2011 fantasy football season if the NFL expands to 18 weeks. I can't take it anymore. Any time there's a 90 percent chance you're going to end up unhappy, what's the point?
homefield means something, but the Bears don't control that, they can win or lose and most likely still have the same #2 seed. it's basically meaningless when you consider GB, NO, and ATL all have to lose on the same day to what most people consider inferior opponents.
as for green bay: shoddy offensive line, QB who likes to run, no ground game = bears sit back all day and kill the packers with a 4 man rush
you obviously haven't been paying attention to Chicago (except the Pats game) since their bye week. who the fuck is Brian Peppers? waitaminute
OLine is infinitely better right now than even a couple weeks ago. Ground game is back - Forte has averaged over 80 yards for the last 5 games (which is pretty good considering the stinker against NE)
GB can't sit back and play zone against Cutler, especially if their one good pass rusher isn't putting pressure on him. They definitely have to worry about stopping the run (they are giving up like 120rypg or something like that)
the key to the GB/CHI game will be Cutler: if he has another DERP moment like he did against the Jets, it's going to be hard to overcome against a good offense like GB.
