Better solution is to make alcohol illegal, but that will never ever happen. I'd add more, but then this whole thread would probably derail and turn into something else and I just don't care about the topic all that much in the first place.
What I'm more interested in is if there's been any fallout for Ebert because of his tweet.

Why should liquor be outlawed? For every person whose dumb and drives drunk, you got a hundred others who are responsible. Be better that if your at a bar and have more then two drinks, your keys should be surrendered and have to pass a breathalyzer to get them back, but even that could be cheated. An actual better deterrent would be stricter penalties for DUI's. As it is, right now the only penalty is going to a few AA meetings, no license for a few months and increase in insurance rates and that's not enough. A few months in the county jail for a first offense and going up from there would be a good start instead of waiting for DUI # 10 before anything happens.

When will people learn to call a cab? Hell if you have a AAA membership, they will send you a cab for free to get you home. Better to pay the 20 bucks and wake up with a hangover then drive home drunk and wind up starring in the next red asphalt video for drivers ed.

I can honestly say I've never seen a cab in WC. It's a tiny town and most people who go out live in town so they walk to the bars.

I'm sorry I was chatting with my girlfriend about this. Some retard (who happens to be a celebrity) who decided to drive 130mph (it's known that he ALWAYS drives fast) while drunk crashes and dies. Why does anyone show remorse other than his family and what not? It was his fault and his own decisions. If anyone gets ANY remorse it's the passenger who probably told the retarded fuck driving 130mph to slow the fuck down.

This kinda shit is what is wrong with everyone. I am happy to say that I will never die while drunk behind the wheel and I will never die while driving 130mph. Fuck off fags.
