Anyone else bothered by not being able to refer to things as like "the '87 this" or "a '94 that" without it being all weird?

The oh-one, oh-three, and whatnot was ok... but it just sounds weird saying "the '11 Mustang", and it's worse when I hear shit like "oh-eleven"... Nine more years til the 20's.

Most of the time, you can still say the '20s and be talking about the 1920s. I'm pretty sure make and model will determine something. For example, a '67 Mustang is universally understood as the 1967 model. In 40 years, however, they may not even make the Mustang anymore. If they did, they would probably say the 1967 Mustang.

Never heard anyone say "The '11" or "The oh-11". Most of the time they say the "2011 model".

Sure as hell beats "Nineteen-ought-six".

Yeah, but shit like a conversation where your habit would have been to say "oh yeah, it's valid til oh-eight" or whatnot, and you blurt out an "oh-eleven"... '011?

Great way to base it off of one night cool guy. It was all in good fun. The running around naked was for Rugby and scoring my first try during the season. The lap dances were for a girl's birthday. If you base one person on the way an entire group of people act, I believe you are the one with the problem.

It's cool, straight people do it too. Hell, I made out with three girls that I know of on NYE. Though to be fair I don't remember who two of them were, only that I had hell to pay the next day for getting busted twice by the chick I've been sleeping with lately.
