    Buy 5 of those "I heart NY" shirts for 10 bucks from a street vendor... they will not disintegrate when water touches them, no foolin'.

    But what you should really do is visit either the spot John Lennon was shot or the imagine tribute in the park... I've regretted not doing that. I'd also suggest CBGB's but the place is honestly just a shithole where some famous people played early in their careers and it may even be shut down, as I don't keep up with trends anymore.
