This would actually be a cool movie. Wake up, 1% or 5% or 50% or whatever of the world's population is gone - and the only thing they have in common was "goodness". Just removing that group of the population would be a huge "wtf" and cause problems - but what of all those who are left, "unsaved" - does their life lose meaning especially in what amounts to absolute proof that "God" exists?

I'm not sure if it will happen as in the "rapture" like in the Left Behind series that you mentioned, or if it will be a single event. In either case, being "good" has nothing to do with whether you will go to heaven or hell.
