Unbelievable for that.
I've owned a gun since I was 12 and shot it all the time. I lived on a farm for awhile and the neighbors would pay me to take out all the pests that lived in their barns. Guns have been a major part of my life. One of my first memories is going shooting with my dad.
Never would pick up a gun and shoot at someone.
Was already established I thought he took his dad's sidearm. Maybe i'm in the minority, but my mom was a deputy reserve, and my dad retired as a Lieutenant for ACSO. I was taught at a young age to respect firearms, to never point them at someone, even if you know it's empty, how to properly clean, load, and unload a six shooter by age 13. Hell my x's uncle who is a huge gun enthusiast was impressed when he handed me his glock and I told him to remove the one from chamber as I wasn't familiar with that gun.
As for the dad, I'd be amazed if he didn't keep it secured, but told his kids how to get to it if needed in an emergency. All in all a sad thing, but one less emo cock sucker who can't man up and deal with consequences for his actions to deal with.
What ever happened to getting into fights at school, that wasn't enough?
