Yeah, I wasn't sure about the Pack v Eagles and the Colts v Jets records. Hilarious either way and so I don't think me picking all the road teams is too much of a stretch.

    saints, jets, chiefs, eagles

meh, rodgers threw 188/2td/2int in the first game. sure they're playing well, but he's not been lights out week in and week out. and honestly, AR is fantastic at getting his teams ready so I'm expecting an exciting shoot out game. the big thing will be ST, the eagles sucked the first time, but have really tightened up, most notably with Colt Anderson on ST.

    Saints vs Seahawks - lol

Ravens vs Chiefs - Jamaal Charles and Dwayne Bowe go beast mode

Jets vs Colts - Jets are a fraud, will show this game

Packers vs Eagles - The Eagles only shot of winning is running the ball, and we all know Andy Reid is completely incapable of doing that, so it will be a blow out.

some good shit in there. patriots are the second best team since they started doing the rankings in 1993, beating out themselves from 07. If you weight the DVOA (adjust the values with later games mattering more), they are the best team ever going into the playoffs. Brady and manning also have the 6 best seasons every recorded by quarterbacks in terms of actual good stats, with brady having a bigger edge.

Also heard something funny earlier today. TV was talking about passer rating and how good aaron rodgers is, and then someone said "well you can't compare his career passer rating to people like montana, marino, elway, favre, etc because it was much more difficult to pass the football before the rule changes in 04 (iirc, might have been 05)." manning and brady's worst seasons, by far, were before then.

rodgers has training wheels on his passer rating

What rule changes? Did they require fans in the stadiums or something?

Ryan is like, 1-4 against Manning. He always blitzes like mad even though Manning destroys his schemes like they're designed by a high school coach. Then again, so does every other team. When the Jets blitz 6+ players, the opponent QB rating is 98.6, which is higher than the career mark of every QB in the HoF. Ryan is going to blitz, and when he gets eaten up, he'll do what he does best. Blitz more. Should be an entertaining game.

serious question? You could rape receivers running routes in the 80s with no penalties. After the "patriot rule" was made following the( again mid 2000s I think 2004 or 05) season, you can only touch a receiver in the first 5 yards of his route.

QB may have to read more complicated defenses, but he doesn't have to worry about his receivers getting hit or held running routes anymore.

1-6, with the only win coming last year against PAINTER in the second half. Simmons kinda swayed my mind about this game - pats/jets steelers/ravens divisional round almost seems like destiny.

So you're saying Jenkins would be the best CB in the history of the league?
