those are akg k142 hds, idk why the model isn't specified there. I'm actually using my pair at this very second lol

can't recommend them highly enough, I adore mine, but it took some time. when they were new, they were very tinny and the sound could be brittle. I was apprehensive but kept working on them, and now they're rich with a warm tone. however they are NOT bassy in the slightest. they produce mid-bass roundedly but you won't get any thumping outta them. they're very sturdy, I abuse them pretty badly. they don't look fancy, but they most certainly are.

if you want a pair of cans that sounds fantastic out of the box, these are not for you. but if you work on burning them to cultivate their range, there is no better set for the price, plus you'll get as attached as I have to mine.

these are just the specs of w/e you're looking at, they're a surprisingly bad indicator of the sound you get from a pair of headphones

all the cans suggested for the most part are over ear, meaning that the pads lift the actual speaker away from your ear instead of sitting it directly on it. it's generally a better fit comfort-wise and of course helps with the sound quality.

koss is usually a safe bet but closed back designs are for scrubs, way too much internal reverb. go for semi-open or open (akgs feature this, some senns, etc etc. just look for mesh or openings on the cap.)

idk about frends, if it's a boutique maker just stay away

overall the best advice I can give you is to listen to the suggestions I made, because I know what I'm talking about lol
