Looking for people who have or presently use hughesnet to play ffxi

Its absolutely awful, along with the service they provide. My parents live in a remote area and have hughes for their provider. I stayed with them for a month last year, and playing on hughes was so bad, i eventually just stopped playing for the month because i couldn't take it. If you plan on doing anything with more than 5 people in the area, good luck.

Yes but if you read the FFXI forum you would know that IIRc there is a problem with PS2 right now and SE admit that the PS2 is close to dead

I wanted to talk to some one in private. After I mention problem then you get posts telling me to get DSL or cable or move back to town. Answers that don't help.

I've heard about the space issue on ps2. Can ffxi be updated on a ps2 and does PC have the same issue

If you have 12 megabytes left on your hard drive for your PC, sure.. you'll have the same problem.

But so long as you have the space, you won't have the problem on your PC. It's solely a PS2 issue as far as I remember.

Its not a damn space issue. I've had to go to town for two a half years to update everything
All I wanted was a couple people to talk 1 on 1 about playing ffxi with hughesnet. Probably 700 replays in 2 different forums and only one person answered yes. Thank you to that one person. Fuck this site and all of it's assholes except the one

The problem has nothing to do with your isp.
