Yea ok, I knew it wasn't going to happen. At least this fixes something rather then 'adjusted the sell price of certain items to npc'.

For people who ghetto-craft (i.e. only rank up via leves rather than grinding using own mats) it actually was a pretty big deal

Well, it's been a month since Yoshida took over and we finally get some kind of update, even if it is just to fix one relatively minor bug. Thinking positively, if we extrapolate from this then it's a good bet that FFXIV is going to kick ass by sometime in 2015.

It was also a big deal for crafters who only wanted to take leves that could potentially reward them with marks.

Regardless I doubt it's a bad thing the servers got a reboot. They were getting rather unstable as of late.

Well it was quite annoying accepting a rank 10 leve after cancelling another and finding a rank 30 leve in your journal.
