We're not getting the weapons DLC afaik (or they are not day 1), but that's a fair point.

What? Europe do get it. Outside of UK, we get all of the dlc in all stores.

Granted, other forums like GAF hivemind is baww'ing pretty hard. It's just that most of the points mentioned are exaggerated to hell and back.

It should be pretty obvious that this game is carrying XIII's torch so it's not surprising. It'll make SE work harder so that's good.

Got back into XIII recently. Going for all the achievements. I've completed everything minus farming Adamantoises for Tier 3 weapons. Stupid treasure hunting trophy.

Gotta look up the best way to farm toises! It's been awhile.

The best way is using sazh and summon killing on the eden adamantoise. You can do this really early at about 6k hp on your characters with no need of genji gloves or anything.

This is what it says here; maybe it's unique for the Nordic pack, but I heard somewhere that countries outside of Scandinavia gets it too.

DLC content; Alternate costume for Serah and Noel
• DLC content; Unique Weapon for Noel
• DLC Content; Monster battle: defeat Omega, the famous FINAL FANTASY boss monster, and then have it join your party as you continue on your adventure.

Otherwise you could always order it from here, I suppose. It releases Feb 1st here, so you should have it by the 3rd I believe.

Put Vanille in your group after she gets Death and spam on toises until it works, if it dont, reload from save in the Steppe and do again. When Death works, it kills the toises fast. Rinse and repeat. Easiest way by far to farm them, if you are into the mindlessness of this tactic.

Doing that killed the fun of the game for me. So boring. I'd rather stab myself in the eye with a fork repeatedly than spam Death again.

Taking Toises down in like 2 mins now. Stagger each leg -> Highwind with Fang -> Triple Sab to get Imperil,etc on the head -> Triple Rav to Stagger -> Com/Com/Sab the head to death. With snow spamming Daze they drop super quick. Fang is a monster with like 2800 STR.

Tried Death spamming but it wasn't consistent enough. I'm gonna have to farm alot of these things

Death spamming is only for if you wanna farm them before you are strong enough to kill them yourself. There was a bahamut strategy too if I remember correctly.

I used Sazh's ultimate move or w/e. I think it worked pretty well once you got the execution down.

Um. if he has every achievement but treasure hunter... you can slaughter turtles easily w/o death. When I was farming em for ultimte weapons id kill em in like 3-4 minutes w/o death. you only use deathw hen your characters are underpowered

That's why you should leave stage 3 weapon upgrading and treasure hunter trophy as the very last tasks you do.
By the time you 5-star all the 64 missions your characters will be almost capped and you'll be able to farm turtles a lot faster.
You definitely don't need stage 3 weapons at any point of the game.
Incidentally, the last mission is harder to 5-star if you use stage 3 weapons since your stats and ATB slots are used in the target time calculation. With stage 1 ones you can just let Vanille's Poison do most of the damage since it isn't affected by your stats.

This is correct. Sorry it has been awhile since I played it, I just remember farming them that way. I was underleveled and did do my Stage 3 weapons before I should have, and it was the only way I could do it. Sorry, didnt pay attention that you were at/near the end.

All that review tells me is that the guy who wrote it didn't like the story so he felt like he had to subtract 5 points from the score.
He even acknowledges that the gameplay is awesome but I guess that isn't enough for FF standards.
Easily the least believable review so far and that takes Famitsu into account.
