LO's story was epic in the first disc. Then the shit just becomes typical RPG save the world from the bad guy affair. The fact they were immortals becomes an after-thought, can't remember how many times through the game I went "oh yeah I forgot."
It's a shame the wonderfully written dream sequences weren't incorporated into the actual game itself.
I agree. I was completely captivated by the first disc of LO and found it an amazing emotional rollercoaster, dealing with protagonists/antagonists and the idea of immortality itself in a novel and very interesting kind of way. Then it went all generic and I lost all interest![]()
If i remember correctly the second disc was as good as the first i remember the end of disc 1 going into disc 2 was one of the best parts.

To me LO is one of the better JRPGs in recent years. It felt lacking in some story departments but it worked out well. Felt sad about the events that unfolded at the end of disc 1.
I had bitch tears by the end of disk 1.
Whoever said they didn't is a fucking liar.
So truth
Stop all that talk, I'm feeling enough shame for not being able to play it yet :< And dunno when I'll get my hands on an xbawks, but that's one of the first games on my list to play.
is LO Last Order?
Edit: or Lost Odyssey?
The latter
ssssslightly higher quality. Not enough to figure out anything new.
