You're Mioko's gay lover/father, so yeah, you're right on track.
On-topic: what exactly about the new battle system does everyone dislike? I see people that are criticizing the battle system in XIII-2, yet were raving about Dragon Age 2's battle system, which was complete ass. What's the deal?
That Lightning vs Bahamut footage is new to me.
Looks amazing!
But yeah it does sound like he says "killed herself".....
i believe he said 'lightning had already built herself to a point where she can save pulse'
also lol flanbenero can use Hundred Fists
Valhalla baby, make it happen.
With a shocking "SHE WAS DEAD ALL ALONG" plot-twist at the end.
Valhalla... yeah, there's a lot of references going on there with her. Shit man, that's a good idea, haha.
She bears an uncanny resemblance to Lenneth Valkyrie so I wouldn't be surprised if they went that route.
And that would make her look even cooler.
All of you should work for SE's PR department. You're hyping this game up, goddammit. I wants!
I still look at that oversized package once a week with disgust.
Game is looking better than I expected to be honest, Just hoping they don't concentrate on Noel/Serah too much in this. We already did Hope/Vanille in 13 FFS. Personally I thought Light was a great character, easily my favorite Main character in the FF series with Basche a close second.
The more I think about it, the less likely it seems that anyone will be part of the main party outside of Serah and Noel. It looks like the whole monster-summoning thing is tied into the paradigm system itself. I think I see that each summonable monster has an innate job (Flandragora = RAV, Scalebeast = SEN, Feral Behemoth = COM, etc.), and your paradigms are completed by setting Noel, Serah, and then placing a monster in that combo. If they are incorporating these monsters that much into the system, I don't feel like you'll get the option of simply having some other familiar human (Hope/Sazh/etc.) there instead... especially since all the characters were supposed to have lost their powers.
I'm sad that it's probably going to be similar to X-2 in that reunions of sorts will be limited to some cutscenes and dialog when you run into them, and then you move on. Except for Lightning, obviously. Not to mention, Serah has little to no actual connection to the others of the old cast outside of her sister and fiance.
I just wanna see Sahj's kid. He seriously has to win the award for fucking cutest kid in any RPG.
Not sure if it's been said, but is it possible that the Unknown knight (seen in the original trailer fighting against Lightning) is Noel? Noel is the incarnate of the unknown guy, trying to "lead" Sarah astray within Pulse? I've seen this theme before, I just can't pinpoint it...
Far fetched, I know

how old was Dajh supposed to be?
He was 6.
multiple endings might be..
Serah reunites with Snow.
Serah becomes a slut and gets together with Noel
Serah decides to become a nun and joins Lightning
To be fair, TAY happens like 15ish years after the original. Some parts of it do happen right after IV and the new Interlude episode also happens a few months later so there's no excuse there.
Anyway why do they keep mentioning FFX-2 and "XIII-2 will be the first FF game with multiple endings" in the same interview? Are they forgetting about the game as the interview goes on? It's like when they were referring to Lightning as the first female protagonist of the series when obviously Terra and Yuna already had that spot before.
I also think the monsters are there as an option just like they were in X-2 Int. We already have 3 playable characters revealed (Light, Serah, Noel) and only 3 slots in party so it's possible that you simply choose what you want to use. Granted that with 150+ types of monsters each with their own growth we're looking at tons of playable members. I wonder if you can actually set them as the pt leader or not (most likely not).
Looks like they're going in a completely different direction with this which I like. FFXIII was good imo but changing things up every title is a good thing.
Ok, new interview infos sounds promising. Thats probably a bad thing when it comes to SE.
Serah/Noel are the only ones revealed to be played normally (lots of normal encounters, running around, fight completion, crystogen/loot, dialog, menus, tutorials, etc.). It's very possible (and I think very likely) that any other character (read: Lightning) is played separate from any standard random-encounter/exploration and not in any normal fashion (occasional story focus shifts). I mean, the demo'd Chaos Bahamut fight takes place on Odin, at full gallop, without any Gestalt timer/gauge/etc. It reeks of "this is more of an interactive cinematic than an actual boss fight."
There's really too many possibilities and way more customization with the third member always being a monster to have the option of replacing it with a human character that excels in one job, is alright in two others, and sucks at the rest.
