A sweet, the game will on display at comic con along w/ a playable demo. Will need to check it out
What? This is coming out before ME3? Holy shit.
I have no issue with weapons/armor that can be upgraded. Though I'll agree I don't like only having 2-3 slots for weapons/armor. Playing DQIX and you have full armor options and they even change how your character looks with each new one. I'd love to see that implemented into FF, though their love of cinematic sequences probably stops this from happening since they couldn't be cutting edge if they had to be able to adhere to different armor/weapons used.
Who's Emily Shoji?

Its on her Twitter page....
Good news. Looks like I won't be importing the game from Japan this time.
Who cares if it's a trap? Assuming it's not shooped, it's an exceptional quality costume, expertly photographed.
Cant wait for Jan, Dark Souls, Skyrim, FF XIII-2 and ME 3 all within months, lots of RPG goodness.
I agree, but probably not for the reason you're saying it.
Spoiler: show
FFVI is still a very good video game. You not liking it is a separate matter.
I'd prefer an FF6 remake in the vein of the III/IV DS titles, given how faithful those were to the source material and original 8/16-bit charm of the character designs. I don't think I could tolerate a re-release that
The story was good (calling it a "quantum leap" over 4 is a major overstatement), there were enough characters to fill a small auditorium and many of them were uninteresting, I don't know what was special about the dungeon design, and the battle system? That was the only thing that I genuinely disliked about the game.
