is probably closer to the mark. I don't think that track is anywhere near as good as people are making it out to be. Haven't been keeping up with any of the music, but it sounds like it is probably the battle theme? Thirteen's was better.

Square Enix Inviting Players to Try Final Fantasy XIII-2 In Advance

Forty players will get to visit Square Enix's home office to try the game ahead of TGS.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be playable in the Square Enix booth at the Tokyo Game Show in mid September. But a few lucky gamers won't have to wait until then to play it!

Square Enix announced today that it will host an early demo event and "fan meeting" for the game on September 10 at its main office in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward. Attendees will be able to sample the latest version of the game, and get an introduction from the development staff.

There's just one catch: only forty people will be invited to the event.

The event will be held in two phases on September 10, first from 12:00 to 14:30, then from 15:00 to 17:30. Each phase will have 20 participants.

Interested parties should check Square Enix Members for details on how to apply. Names are being taken through August 24.
