    Corrupt/Dark/Shin/Chaos Shiva Sisters I see ?

I don't think any other characters besides Light, Serah, Noel and Pet of the Week is playable by the looks of it now, it's heavily looking like FFX-2 now!

Also, Hope seems to be growing up to be a badass!

Looks like the game will have tons of things to do. Yeah, they surely cut content to release as DLC.

The same could be said for any game with DLC, depending on your point of view.
There is no real way to tell unless you developed that game.

Did we ever learn who Serah's Eidolon was? Would love to see some "new" summons. Otherwise, this looks awesome

They did say we will be able to use a guest character from time to time but they will not have a permanent place in a party. It's Noel + Sarah + monster, that's the focus.

You guys really need a better sarcasm detector. Or simply need to read more than the last post.

I think Nevex knows - While the game does seem to feature a lot, who knows if they could added more on top of that in the final game or not (only the dev themselves know.)

Interesting with Hope - he wants to go back in time to save Vanille, Fang, Lightning, and his mom. Again hopefully all the timeline stuff isn't too complicated (oh noes, we changed the past! Now the future is "really borked" and we have to try to fix that somehow.)

I'm okay with time travel stuff as long as it isn't too complicated (Chrono Trigger at first was kind of simple for example. Though it was made much more complicated later in Chrono Cross when they revealed it wasn't as simple as it seemed in Chrono Trigger.)

We all know this will have various endings depending on completion, FFX-2 style!

(Everyone is reunited & a new future & present)= 100% -Rainbows and butterflies ending
(Lightning reunited only, okay future & present) = 99.99% - Good ending
(Lightning is stuck and only a new present exists) = Complete Story only - lulz ending

    How I imagined it!

    Future Ending
    Present Ending
    Past Ending

Hope it's not % based, I didn't like the idea of resorting to a guide to achieve 100% in FFX-2 (or several amount of playthroughs) - every one tiny event is worth some %!

It's good, but I don't have as much time these days!

It looked cool because the blue kid didn't speak much and the villain succeeded in doing something bad.

    Sure feels Chrono Trigger though.

Hope is kind of cool now, wish Sazh had a speaking line and Snow as always is super cool.

    Love my Lighting.

Serah goes back into time. Gets pregnant by Hope. Has one baby, names it Lighting, takes a time warp with hope has another baby and names it Serah Jr.

Serah is her own grandmother and Mother of Lighting. This is how she gets her power, why Lighting got pulled away at the end and why Hope wears a tie.

From talking with the Square Enix brand manager at Comic Con, Serah's Eidolon is Mog. I had an exclusive interview with him after demoing the game and I'm in the process of uploading the video right now to Youtube. I'll edit in the link once it's up. Although I know I asked some questions we already have answers to, I tried to ask some questions that would evoke interesting answers.

    EDIT: FFXIII-2 Interview.

Not much new info there, but like I said, there is some insight. Not sure if it was mentioned or not BUT through talking with one of the reps I found out that Gamestop AND Amazon's DLC will be available post launch. That means Best Buy has the only pre-order bonus that will only be available through pre-ordering the game.

EDIT EDIT: That is not me doing the interview. I wrote the questions. My co-worker sadly doesn't know much about Final Fantasy so I had to hope for the best.

Mog being her Eidolon makes sense since moogles have occasionally been summons throughout the series, it transforms and chances are that she's still a l'cie even though her brand can't be seen. I guess it fits her character well.

Nice! So you got to write all the questions? Were there any limits on which questions you can ask?

If you happen to get a chance again (maybe next year or anytime in the future), can you ask if they ever thought about bringing more FF games to the PC with mod support >.>? Of course I know the guy is just a rep but "maybe" more people bothering them with questions about it may or may not make them think about it more.

They could start with FF7 though that depends on how hard it is to fix it up and make it work on modern PCs. Release it on Steam I say!

I was actually very surprised. I offered to let him screen my questions before I asked if they wanted, and the brand manager said he'd actually rather answer them on the spot which I thought was cool. Unfortunately, this interview was only allowed to be about the games they have coming out or just released (FF XIII-2, Deus-EX, WAKFU, Dead Island, and Heroes of Ruin) but I decided to stick to FF XIII-2. If I get the opportunity to interview them again, especially in regards to a much wider topic I'll be sure to stop here and see if there's any nagging questions on any ones mind since reading through the last few posts inspired me with a few questions I wish I would have asked instead.

Also, in regards to a world map question I saw a few pages ago... No, there will not be a world map. However, when talking to the brand manager, I forget what his exact words were but it was something along the lines of you will have a lot of branching paths and options when going back and forth through time. So, while there will not be a "World Map" per se, there will be some form of interactive screen that you can navigate to get to where you want. I wish I could give you his exact quote, but the audio recorder didn't hold up well to the roar of Marvel vs. Capcom right next to us.

You can see what they're talking about at like 2:30 in the new trailer.

Ahh I see thanks for the reply .

Though if you do get to ask again and if they do say keep it to FFXIII-2 or FFXIII-3 (in the future), can you ask them about those games being ported over to the PC sometime in that case (since it'd still be related to those games but in regards to platforms) >.>?

    _____
I do have a PS3 but I wouldn't mind a PC port of FF games in general simply because of the appeal of modding. FF7 (PC) had a decent amount of mods. The Last Remnant (Square Enix) doesn't have mods but with memory editing, you could add/remove abilities to characters which normally do not have them and do a few other neat stuff.

Now if SE doesn't disallow it or even supports modding, it'd be really great.

As for mod support type? Something like Elder Scrolls IV would rock (though they don't have to go that far, even with no mod support there can still be stuff that can be done like The Last Remnant).

Edit: Another plus of PC Final Fantasy is it may be easier to backup saves (assuming they don't *protect them like on PS3). I subscribe to PS Network Plus just for backing it up (cause they're protected )

*Not sure if it's true but they're "semi-protected" (If you use a save on another PS3, you can load any save but you can't save). So if your PS3 breaks down and you can't get it repaired and have to get another, you're screwed on the saves I assume (if you're just backing up to USB drive and not PS Network).

If you use PS Network+ though you can load it on another PS3 (but you'll have to subscribe to PS Network Plus and upload the saves to PS network).

Glad Sony did add game save storage option though (hopefully there's no data corruption >.> on their end).

Edit 2 - Click - Release it for the PC SE!
