How can anyone order this with a straight face? Seriously stop watching movies from the 90's no one orders fruity shit at the club anymore. All the ladies get cranberry vod and the brosefs drink beer or whiskey, good middle ground is gin and tonic or rum and coke.

Jack and Coke is my standby, but I've also come to like Seven and Seven (Seagrams and 7-Up).

I'm not 21 so I'm not familiar with any bar/club scenes, but as for drinks that are great, I'd suggest Southern Comfort+Coke or Crown Royal+Coke. Also, in my opinion, both of those whiskeys are great for just sipping.

Most other liquor doesn't agree with me at all, but for some reason whiskey just goes down easy and doesn't upset my stomach too much.

I'm going out tonight to a Bar that can sometimes turn into somewhat of a club, this thread inspired me to try something new to drink.

Typically I just go with yuengling if im drinking beer, and LIT's if I want a buzz. I hate the taste of most alcohols except for yueng and dogfish, so it's always hard for me. Definitely getting drunk though since my friend was murdered this weekend.

SoCo is not whiskey, or even a spirit at all.

It has a spirit base that is whisky, but considering the sugar content, it actually is a liquor if I'm not mistaken. For you bros that want to be all manly and shit, go get an Islay scotch, most (if not all) of them have a smokey (and indirectly, bacon) taste due to the malt being roasted beforehand. They usually cost more than "basic" whiskeys like Seagrams, CC, CR, JD, JB and the cheaper brands of J. Walker. Though I will stab you if you cut it with more than a drop of water.

Don't blame the bartenders. I haven't seen a bar that carries ginger beer in ages. You can use ginger ale, but the ginger flavor it much weaker and just gets covered by the vodka and lime. And not many bars bother to carry ginger ale anymore either.

The lack of ginger beer and sometimes ginger ale, I totally understand. Also, I would never expect a copper mug... It's just that almost every bartender that I ask have never even heard of it.

Cider and Black currant. Very british but its fucking gorgeous when it's ice cold and your bar has decent quality cider/black currant. (Strongbow/Ribena ftw)

Cherry sours and coke. Recent discovery for me actually .. careful though quite hard to believe its alcoholic lol yummm
