I hate 3D and hope it dies(again) quickly, but I also wear glasses so watching them is annoying as fuck on top if it being a dumb gimmick.

Apparently, we were some of the only ones who understood it; nearly all of the questions in this thread were answered by the movie and the complainers either:
A. Didn't pay attention / missed the explanation
B. Doesn't know what he or she is even talking about (which planet the damn movie even takes place on or where back doors were even shown?)
It is the kind of movie where you learn more and more from multiple viewings, still captures on the net, interviews, and forum discussion. A++
Also, 3D is not going anywhere now that movie-goers are paying more per ticket for 3D and companies like LG/Samsung are implementing the tech into their products. It is here to stay and will only get better and be introduced through more mediums. If you don't like it, you're going to have a bad time! derp
3D has gotten popular and fizzled in waves for six decades now, it'll fade again.
Ya niggas making it seem like it some Team Jacob vs Team Edwards type shit. I'm sure most people enjoyed it, just saying, plot could've been polished up.
Which is why I said, "some of the only ones" meaning, "not only us from TN"![]()
So anyone wanna explain to me why ginger turned crazy and not into an alien? It's the only question I have, but it definitely didn't cause me to hate the movie.
Spoiler: show
@Calli, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN.
dude showed up folded up like a futon, half a foot taller than when he left and able to jump 10 feet in the air/punch through trucks, and had a fucked up coloring to him. I wouldn't call that 'turned crazy'. He probably turned into whatever was happening to Halloway, but faster since he was exposed to more than just a drop of goo.
To me, it looked like Halloway was undergoing the same shit that the Engineer in the beginning was undergoing, just at a slower rate, iirc (I'm only unsure of my remembrance of that opening scene because I was like "I AM SO CONFUSED" the entire time), what with the blue veins etc.
haven't seen the movie yet (want to and plan on it during the week) but i had to chime in and say in my opinion the only time 3D was put to good use was the flying dildos in jackass
The biggest issue I have with this movie was when Vickers said "We traveled half a billion miles". They traveled like 35 light years. Shits a lot further than 500million miles. Just saying.
Other than that, it's like I've said twice in this thread. People keep super over analyzing this movie. I'm sorry but that whole Jesus thing to make the Engineer's hate us? How does one even get that from this movie?!
Thanks NDT.
Because people are reading into what Ridley Scott himself said in an interview with movies.com
Spoiler: show
