Everything he does is to find a way to save Weyland

Dunno why she reminded me so much of Sharon Stone.
It's kinda ambiguous in the beginning, but once we see weyland alive, it becomes obvious. The only thing I wonder is what he said to the engineer at the end. Did he ask shaw's question, weylands, or purposely infuriate the engineer so he would kill his "father"
It is bloody obvious the second he goes to talk to him and is confronted by Charlize Theron before you even see him.
It was said earlier in the thread, but this is the reason why we can't have good movies any more. If there isn't a scene with some one explaining exactly what's going on then people cry bad writing.
There are things to complain about, and they mainly revolve mohawk dude and biologist. Everything else was almost perfect.
I too am surprised by the people who are confused with a script written by the individual responsible for Lost and Cowboys & Aliens.
You'd show those people Blade Runner and they would have same reaction
not liking a movie = not getting it, alright. got it.
"I would've preferred if the robot agenda was explained" = crying about the movie. I'll keep that in mind next time.
People are putting this in the same league as Blade Runner? Talk about white knighting a film. Poorly written plot/poor editing, needing the cutouts to explain why the movie was actually happening.
After watching the movie I originally thought David was "upset" with the scientist’s response for his question, why did humans create him, because we could.
All of this in my opinion of course. Just thinking back on this movie upsets me, what a crappy comparison, feels like this could of been a cable movie on H2 Ancient Aliens, jesus was a alien OoOoOo.
Was watching Blade Runner yesterday and it kinda made me lol when I realized that both BR and Prometheus were asking, in two very different ways, "What makes a human?"
right Blade Runner was asking in an intelligent thought-provoking way and Prometheus was asking in a retarded way with the answer being black goo and space jesus
I thought it was okay, but them saying 3% co2 will kill you and that the DNA matched was pretty stupid and broke the experience
