It's dumb, it's annoying, and I hate having to do it, and I'd rather not have to. Doesn't mean I wont try for that stupid low chance that I'll get anything worthwhile out of it.

I liked it before they increased the price. Now fuck it, its not worth reactivating some mules for a month. Once the numbers come out, I pull up my spreadsheet of #'s that I use, go 'Oh, nothing matched", and smile at the time/money saved.

Pretty much the same here. I have 32 characters over two accounts. For 30 characters I merge 3-digit prefixes from random.org with 00-99 three times over. The remaining two characters are completely random 5-digit sequences from random.org. I have a script that does the merging and puts everything in a database that I can feed the winning numbers to and get instant feedback.

Or you could make everything random and just run with every char to bonanza mog to tell you if you got some winning number and have a lot more (fun) (excitement) out of it...

This. Kudos to the people with 10 characters who approach this thing statistically in order to maximize winnings, but it takes the fun out of the event. Then again, I'm not much of a gambler.

It only took me 5 minutes to get my marbles, but I only have 1 character and they're all quick picks. Last bonanza I did the same thing and ended up with a Vbelt, so I'm not expecting to hit the semi-jackpot twice in a row.

the price increase sucked but i haven't missed a year, even with my acct inactive (turned it on last year just to buy/wait/see if i won/deactivate). this year i happened to start playing again during the buying window, got annoyed everyone was hitting 90 and i was still sitting at 75, so that worked out at least. not expecting to win much besides some statues though. good luck everyone who played.

Well, I remembered to get them on a mule one day when I logged in, but something was going on in LS and I forgot to get on my main. Time to win worthless shit that my mule can't use, I'm sure... or more likely, nothing.
