oh not about that, its random dc i (and some people in my LS) gets when moving between zone with seperate servers.
it will just r0 and pew pew u need 10min to log back in

This is the one in which they fix the bug where you don't get SP when morons kill yellow mobs in behest, can't change jobs to remove slow walking glitch or invite people when the party has a mob engaged, and have to be face to face with someone to kick them from your linkshell.

didnt they promise overhauls for january

in 2005 there was a huge version update to xi that added so many stuffs on january 18th

i think this is a symbolic maintenance with similar amount content to honor that day

Well, it fixed 2 bugs. That's like twice as many as the last version update. Yay for progress.

Today the FFXIV development team became aware of an issue that was causing the sound of wind blowing to be 7% louder than intended. We have conducted emergency maintenance to correct this issue and are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

- The amount of skill points and experience points gained from "fishing point investigation" type regional levequests have been adjusted.

- The following issues have been addressed:

* Players would experience a "(40000)4" error when entering the market wards.

* The FINAL FANTASY XIV client would forcefully shutdown when a player executes a macro with a specific combination of text commands.

It couldn't possibly have been a "nerf." The type of Fieldcraft leves in question were previously the only ones that gave no bonus exp/skill whatsoever, even with Guardian's Favor.
