I'll have to disagree with that, plenty of british comedy out there that is great. I don't know why you would even bring up comedy when Shameless is clearly a drama.

again, enough with the broad generalizations/trolling/pretentiousness. If you prefer one version that's fine, but there's no need to jump on the "durr other version is shit" train. that doesn't help anyone and just makes you look like a twat. If you have legitimate reasons, by all means discuss them, if not don't bother to post.

Shameless not a comedy??? Huh, its funny as hell. Last 2 episodes were more on the drama side, but over all I would say its a comedy. (what I've seen so far anyways)

Great part, but the highlight had to be Karen talking about all the sexual shit she's done just because of her Dad's reaction.

Gotta say this show is very well done, I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I'm thinking of giving the UK version a go after I finish the US one, although I'm doubting if I can power through the annoying accent that I'm expecting to hear.

I didn't like how they fucked up Karen completely, I actually liked her character and now she just creeps me out. Was kind of a meh episode. Let's hope the season finale is something epic.

Yea I think they went a bit overboard with her as well. I mean she already hated her dad once before, why would she blow up now?

I'm pretty sure the finale will be epic though, at the rate shit was hitting the fan this last episode, something's gotta go down.
