Where the fuck is the bundle.
Where the fuck is the bundle.
Wow Easy Allies apparently got to play the first 90 minutes of the game and are hating it. Apparently world feels empty and characters lack any emotional core.
VG247 on the Titan demo; feels better than the previous demos, but not by much. Combat is clumsy and fight ends with a QTE.
http://www.vg247.com/2016/06/15/fina...really-clumsy/
Which is pretty much the exact opposite of what everybody else says about the same demo (not to be confused with Titan).
You gotta be careful about who you listen to in that group. Pretty heavy fanboys in the mix. The heavy-set fella spent the majority of the stream shitting on anything that wasn't Zelda.
The Titan demo did look clumsy as fuck though.
what made that demo worse was before he started playing he said they wanted to show off how "fast and fluid" the gameplay was lol
In b4 it's the only (or one of two) big and populated city in the game.
When they bring up the option menu you can see Difficulty Normal in that same video. I think there will only be a easy and normal difficulty though since they said people complained it was too hard in the demos.
I expect at least 2 but I hope they have a few towns or charming outpost.
People complained the demo was too hard?
The demo that you could do almost entirely by holding square?
Isn't that how action RPGs work? I just finished Type 0 and I played the entire game just mashing square for physical attack and triangle for a magical attack. I think I upgraded my weapons twice in the whole game and the concept of unlocking new abilities seemed pointless as I had no reason to use them. I expect XV to be the same.
Check out KH for how fun and challenging action combat can be done. And smooth, whereas XV still feels and looks somewhat clunky
Agreed, was too lazy to get specific![]()
KH never appealed to me purely because it was an action RPG. With FFs going down that path now I don't really have a choice any more so maybe I'll go try KH at some point.
The story is kind of convoluted if you haven't had a chance to play them all (which at this point is a lot of games lol), and when you first start the games the battling is pretty simplistic. But the further in you go and more abilities you get, the more fun it gets. If you have a PS3, I'd honestly just start with 2.5 and play BBSFM and KH2FM. KH1 doesn't have as much depth/strategy as it's the first game obviously, and CoM is dull and boring as fuck.
Also, if you do that, watch some story synopsis videos on youtube or something to get caught up lol. If you just start with BBS or KH2, you'll probably be kinda lost.
Edit: And if you really want a challenge right off the bat, play on Proud or Critical mode. On critical, even if I get a little lazy at times, some of the scrub monsters would kill me. I mean, it's not like the boss or scrub monster AI got incredibly more difficult, it's just that the game becomes a lot less forgiving when it comes to taking damage
What a waste, Type 0 easily has some of the best character design from a battle standpoint. And with killsights, mashing attacks isn't the fastest/best way to kill anything relevant. But action RPGs always have modes/methods for laymen compared to normal play so I wouldn't worry about it.
Same with KH really. If you want to see what those games are capable of (and in turn what your characters and you are) you gotta play on harder modes.
On one hand, people hate a game because it's too easy on normal/easy mode because you can auto-attack through everything.
On the other, people hate a game because it's too hard and you can't auto-attack through everything.
It's like judging RK based on only classic event missions.
You just can't please some people. Type-0 and KH are by far some of the best action RPG games I've played. KH is still my all-time favorite and I can't wait for the next one.
And if you want to truly experience it, don't play on easy mode. You can beat everything blindfolded then. It's fucking brain dead on easy mode.
If FFXV is anything like KH I'll play the shit out of it.
