Final Fantasy XV: Cup Noodle XV Special Edition

Well, not all of them are huge. Carbuncle isn't. I'm just excited Shiva is in the game. I expected her to be, but this is the first time we actually see her.

What do we know of so far? From the top of my head:
Leviathan (we know he exists, but not if he's summonable?)
Ifrit (same)
Titan
Ramuh
Shiva
Carbuncle

Any I've missed?

Those are the only ones we've seen so far. I'd be disappointed if some of the more notable summons like Odin and Bahamut are excluded but I don't see that happening at this point. Gotta keep some secrets, right?

When was the last main FF game without Bahamut? Not counting 12 with its different echelon of summons.

not counting 12, bahamut's made an appearance in some capacity in every mainline game as far as i can recall. 2 could be the exception but i honestly have no clue, it's the only one i haven't played to completion.

odin wasn't in X, yojimbo was the stand-in there.

Alexander!!

I was half expecting Alexander to pop up and defend Lucis in Kingsglaive in a similar fashion to how Alexandria in FFIX kind of transformed into Alexander. I was pleasantly surprised when they used what was more or less Knights of the Round.

Aside of Bahamut more than likely being in this game, I can see summons like Odin or Phoenix showing up in some capacity. And ~maybe~ summons like Garuda, Fenrir, Atomos, etc, etc. I'm getting the feeling we'll be involved with the major elemental ones and then Bahamut for the major non-elemental summon and beyond that will either be mobs/mini-bosses that are similar to the summons or just homages in some way.

Curious to see what Diablos and Gilgamesh would look like in the world of XV. Diablos could definitely be a demon. Wouldn't mind seeing a badass Mobius-like Bahamut make an appearance.

If Kingsglaive is anything to go off of, hopefully we'll be looking at a lot of fan service with nods or straight inclusions of previous summons, characters, and enemies.

I'd be surprised if Odin and Fenrir aren't included in some form given that the game seems to be heavily influenced by norse mythology. Bahamut is a given.

Bit hard to tell quality from that video but from what I can tell the lighting/shadows are quite a but better, also seems to run very smooth

This video shows a little bit on how the magic crafting system works. Reminds me of Birth by Sleep's magic fusing and FF8's draw system.

Gameplay is from 2:25 til about the 9 minute mark.

I guess compared to the released demos, could also just be due to more polish on the final product, I honestly doubt we'll get better comparisons until reviews etc in november
